The CVOR is a Level 1 STEMI and Trauma Center, providing surgical care to adult patients. We have 6 Operating Rooms (including one hybrid OR and 1 peripheral vascular lab) with 2 specialty teams, Vascular Surgery and Cardiothoracic Surgery. We perform open, minimally invasive and robotic cardiothoracic surgeries and perform a wide variety of vascular surgeries and interventions. Our training for nurses includes orientation to both the circulating and scrub roles at Mercy.

Job Summary:

Title: Medical Scribe - Bilingual Spanish Required

This position is full time, M-F from 8am to 5pm
The purpose of a Clinical Informatics Specialist (CIS or Medical Scribe) at Oak Street Health is to support our primary care providers with clinical documentation so that they can focus on providing exceptional care to our patients. Scribes assist providers throughout the patient care journey - huddling each morning to plan for the day's visits, joining them in the exam room to observe and document, and touching base after the visit to assist with next steps.
Beyond the typical Scribe role, these important care team members serve as clinical documentation assistants to their paired provider. Internally, we call them CISs (Clinic Informatics Specialists) in recognition of their important role in supporting accurate, specific, and timely clinical documentation. In addition to observing and documenting all patient encounters in real time, our Scribes become experts in our value-based care model and the documentation and care of chronic conditions, including ICD-10 and CPT coding. Scribes use this expertise to help providers identify and help close care gaps. Scribes receive extensive on-the-job training in clinical workflows, value-based medicine, preventative care for chronic conditions, accurate and specific documentation, population health data streams, and team based care.
Because our patients and providers rely on our Scribes, the ideal candidate should commit at least 1-2 years to this role. This is an excellent opportunity for pre-med track individuals looking to gain practical, paid experience in a clinical setting before applying to an MD/DO/PA/NP program, as well as those pursuing careers in Health Informatics, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Medical Coding, and other related fields.

Role Requirements:
At least 1 year of Scribe experience, or past employment in a role that required fast-paced transcription with a focus on accuracy.

Minimum typing speed of 55 WPM, though 70+ WPM is strongly preferred.
Knowledge of medical terminology and common medications
Prior clinical experience, including shadowing and/or volunteering
Advanced listening and communication skills.

THE WORK
As a Software Engineer you will:
• Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements
• Debug existing software and correct defects
• Provide recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards
• Design and code new software or modify existing software to add new features
• Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 2 years of professional experience; or no experience required with a related Masters degree. Considered experienced, but still a learner.
• Candidate must possess active security clearance with a polygraph.

Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees.
Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $86,100
- $151,800. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.

As a Specialist I in Account Service at JPMorgan Chase, you will be the first point of contact for our clients, providing exceptional customer service for various financial products. Your role involves handling inbound calls, building strong customer relationships, and offering innovative solutions to meet client needs. You'll thrive in a fast-paced call center environment, leveraging your communication, multitasking, and results-oriented skills. You will be working within a well-defined framework, performing routine tasks and following established procedures, with any non-standard issues referred to your supervisor.
Job Responsibilities
- Manages a high volume of inbound calls (potentially 40-50 daily), delivering comprehensive support for financial products
- Utilizes customer service expertise to interpret needs and deliver continuous insights
- Navigates multiple computer systems with efficiency, demonstrating adaptability and resilience
- Excels both independently and collaboratively, driving team success and achieving goals
- Follows all regulatory and departmental practices and procedures diligently
- Takes ownership of each customer interaction while treating them with respect and responding with empathy
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Reading and speaking in both Spanish and English fluently is required for this role
- Communication, information gathering, and decision-making skills
- Customer interaction and support skills with at least 1 year of experience in phone or face-to-face settings, while being able to multitask with computer systems and work accurately
- Ability to manage complex customer interactions using empathy, composure, and sound judgment
- Ability to adjust to new situations and effectively navigate different cultural contexts and workplace environments
- Adaptability and efficiency in fast-paced, dynamic, and results-driven environments
- Ability to solve problems and effectively present and explain solutions
- Ability to learn products and systems quickly, embrace challenges as opportunities, and actively seek feedback to improve performance and achieve goals

Work Schedule
Candidates must be willing and able to work schedules during our operating hours, which may include evenings and weekends. This position requires that you attend trainings as scheduled. Training hours may not coincide with your regularly scheduled hours.
