Experience:

• Proven laboratory experience in analytical chemistry or related fields within a regulated environment, such as pharmaceutical or biotechnology industries.
• Hands-on expertise with spectroscopy techniques, including UV-Vis, IR, or atomic absorption spectroscopy.
• Strong knowledge of chromatography methods—gas chromatography (GC) and high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC)—and their application in quality testing.
• Familiarity with wet chemistry techniques and microbiological testing procedures is highly desirable.
• Experience working under GLP guidelines and understanding FDA regulations relevant to pharmaceutical or biotech manufacturing.

The Patient Enrollment Coordinator position is an entry level position within the Patient Enrollment Department at Wake Research and enjoys significant opportunities for career development and growth. The Patient Enrollment Coordinator has primary responsibility and accountability for the timely enrollment of patients/study participants for all clinical research studies at their assigned site.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain full ownership and accountability for initiating phone contact to potential study participants from all lead sources including internal marketing campaigns, outbound database call lists, EHR/provider practice databases, central campaigns, and community outreach efforts.
• Conduct phone-based pre-screening interviews for potential study participants to determine pre-qualification status and eligibility for onsite screening visits.
• Provide detailed study information and answer patient inquiries regarding eligibility criteria, study visits and procedures, time commitments, logistics, etc.
• Consistently provide outstanding customer service with every patient interaction.
• In the case of patient disqualification from initial study of interest, conduct live assessment of patient eligibility for other enrolling or upcoming research studies within appropriate therapeutic areas and conduct additional pre-screening interviews as necessary.
• Schedule onsite screening visits for eligible patients within established scheduling guidelines.
• Input and record patient information and call notes into CTMS database and other portals and systems in compliance with standardized patient enrollment processes and procedures.
• Track information and report data such as call outcomes, limiting factors, etc.; as directed.
• Attend and participate in regularly scheduled and ad-hoc patient enrollment and M3 Wake Research staff meetings, as directed.
• Maintain compliance with all standardized patient enrollment processes and procedures.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations, FDA, GCP, and IRB guidelines, local regulations, and M3 Wake Research SOPs and Work Instructions.
  
  

• High school diploma (or equivalent) required. Professional medical certification, associates, or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• At least 1 year of inbound/outbound call center, phone-based, and/or public-facing customer service experience required. Candidates with transferable skills and strong track records of success in other industries are strongly encouraged to apply.
• Previous experience as a medical assistant, nurse or EMT is strongly preferred.
• Bilingual preferred - English/ Spanish.
• Prior clinical research, healthcare, or medical terminology experience preferred, but not required.

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the nuclear construction, quality, and regulatory space
• Collaborate with clients to develop and refine project scopes, ensuring alignment between client expectations and organizational capabilities
• Support the preparation of proposals, qualifications packages, and presentations that clearly articulate technical approach and value
• Research and monitor emerging projects, procurements, and market trends — particularly within the SMR and advanced reactor space
• Provide competitive intelligence and market insight to inform go/no-go decisions and pursuit strategies

Technical Leadership & Industry Knowledge

• Serve as an internal and external subject matter expert on nuclear construction methods, quality assurance programs, and regulatory frameworks (NRC, 10 CFR 50, 10 CFR 52, ASME codes, etc.)
• Maintain current knowledge of the SMR market landscape, including technology developers, project pipelines, licensing status, and key stakeholders
• Advise on nuclear quality assurance (NQA-1) requirements and their application to construction projects
• Provide technical review and input on project deliverables, scopes, and reports
• Guide internal teams on nuclear regulatory requirements and industry standards

Internal Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing

• Act as a bridge between clients and internal project teams, clearly communicating client needs, expectations, and technical requirements
• Mentor and develop internal staff by sharing nuclear industry knowledge and lessons learned
• Contribute to the development of internal training materials, white papers, and thought leadership content
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and business development leaders to ensure seamless project delivery
• Participate in internal strategy sessions related to nuclear market positioning and growth

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in the nuclear construction, nuclear quality, or nuclear regulatory industry
• Deep working knowledge of nuclear construction practices, including new plant construction, plant modifications, and outage-related construction
• Strong understanding of nuclear quality assurance requirements including NQA-1, 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, and related standards
• Familiarity with NRC regulatory processes, licensing frameworks (10 CFR 50 / 10 CFR 52), and inspection programs
• Demonstrated awareness of the SMR market, including key developers, project status, regulatory pathways, and industry stakeholders
• Proven track record of client-facing engagement — presenting to senior leadership, facilitating workshops, and building lasting professional relationships
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information clearly and confidently
• Strong research skills with the ability to independently investigate projects, market trends, and stakeholder landscapes
• Outgoing, personable, and professional demeanor with a natural ability to build rapport and trust

Responsibilities: The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care for patients. He/she functions within the framework of the policies and procedures of the organization and demonstrates professional growth and accountability. Work Experience

• Nursing Experience in Hospital Setting Preferred
• 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License. Required and
