The Opportunity

  • Evaluate the performance of physicians and PA / NPs in compliance with Vituity policies and guidelines.
  • Monitor physician competencies with progressive improvement using appropriate metrics. Counsel, suspend, or remove staff from the schedule as necessary in compliance with Vituity polices / guidelines.
  • Actively participate in contract negotiations in conjunction with the Regional Director.
  • Develop, foster, and maintain productive and collaborative working relationships with hospital leadership, nursing staff and other healthcare team members.

  • Processes all orders/requests accurately and efficiently, verifying appropriateness of all drugs in reference to the patient’s diagnosis, allergies, height and weight.
  • Monitors workload fluctuations and work output of pharmacy technician(s), adjusting assignments as appropriate to ensure accurate and timely delivery of medications to patient care areas.
  • Conducts proactive drug therapy reviews and monitoring, providing drug information, patient counseling, and management of pharmacist-based dosing protocols, collaborating with other health care staff for problem resolution for the achievement of patient-specific goals.

  • Collaborates with other health care professionals to manage patient’s drug therapy for effectiveness, side effects, adverse drug reactions, toxicities, drug interactions, and incompatibilities following guidelines for formulary management and clinical intervention tools in the achievement of patient specific goals. The Role We Want You For

The Site Safety Manager will provide support to the Project Staff and the Clayco safety team in an effort to execute corporate safety and health standards and procedures in compliance with Federal, State, and Local requirements. In addition to your project responsibilities, you shall participate in and complete all assignments designated to you. This will include, but is not limited to, assisting in development of a zero injury safety culture on each project, conducting at least weekly documented jobsite safety inspections, effectively communicate orientations for all new project workers, assist with and review subcontractor daily pre-task safety analysis, actively promote and participate in daily stretch and flex program, identify project trends and execute proactive safety initiatives to eliminate incidents, support corporate goals and initiatives, emphasize and support proactive safety such as near miss/hazard reporting, coach and recognize workers on safe work methods, report all incidents in an effective and timely manner following established protocols and be a champion in motivating workers to perform their jobs safely! Your responsibilities will be all encompassing for each project you will be dedicated to.



The Specifics of the Role

  • Assist in development of the project safety program.
  • Establish and conduct jobsite orientation for new project employees. Administer and record their participation in the orientation program and issue identification to those employees completing the orientation program.
  • Attend all initial meetings with the project staff and subcontractor representatives to clearly define their role within the confines of the project safety program.
  • Manage larger projects up to $160M.
  • Client interfacing.
  • Manage other Clayco Safety Supervisors on the project.
  • Conduct and document pre-planning safety meetings with each subcontractor representatives to establish safety procedures prior to subcontractor’s activity on site.
  • Establish and conduct regular (weekly) safety meetings with subcontractor representatives and with project staff to ensure proper compliance.
  • Facilitate training for site personnel and ensure that standards are per the OSHA/Clayco and in compliance with Federal and State standards.
  • Ensure and maintain a log of each subcontractor toolbox safety meeting.
  • Review each subcontractor’s safety program and ensure that it meets or exceeds the project safety program requirements.
  • Ensure that each subcontractor designates a safety representative that is properly trained in subcontractor’s scope of work and has the proper authority to correct safety issues.
  • Conduct regular daily and weekly jobsite inspections and complete the safety checklist noting safety violations and corrective actions.
  • Record, notify and prepare written report of any violations or unsafe practices to subcontractors for immediate correction actions.
  • Stop at once any violation or unsafe acts or practices.
  • Assist the Project Superintendent in establishing and implementing proper fire prevention, evacuation, and fire control procedures.
  • Investigate all incidents and generate proper reports.
  • Establish and maintain all required safety records.
  • Conduct a monthly overview safety meeting and attend project staff meetings to brief on safety issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Health and Safety, or equivalent.
  • 6-12 years of safety experience or combination of education and years of experience in building construction, with a working knowledge of safety/environment principles and techniques.
  • 10+ years of field experience minimum.
  • OSHA 30-hour construction accreditation.
  • OSHA 500 Outreach Trainer is a plus.
  • Strong management, leadership, and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing.

Primary Purpose

This role works as part of the Essex Modern Technology & Engineering (MT&E) team and will be focused on owning and driving the Human Centered Design (HCD) capability at the company. The Architecture & Facilities Engineering (A&FE) team is looking for a Staff Mechanical Engineer to support the development and sustainment of projects we support throughout the Disneyland Resort. Our department supports a wide range of project types including Attractions, Maintenance, Foods, Merchandise, and Entertainment. Projects range from minor renovations to new facilities. You will also support immediate response efforts with reactionary projects.

You will act as the Staff Mechanical Engineering Owner’s Representative with technical expertise for mechanical engineering issues, design management of in-house and outside resources, code compliance, Disney design standards, documentation, specifications, and life cycle cost analysis for best value. This role also involves close collaboration with other engineering disciplines and multiple Disney project teams including FAM, WDI, Entertainment, and Operations.

You will report to the Senior Manager for MEP Engineering with DLR Architecture & Facilities Engineering.

What You Will Do

  • Act as Owner’s Representative on projects from concept through construction at the Disneyland Resort.Β  Project types will include shops, rides, hotels, shows, maintenance facilities, and nearly any built facility and area development found on our property.

  • Manage the design and development of contract documents of projects with in-house and outside resources to meet project scopes, schedules and budgets.

  • Develop concepts and Request for Proposals (RFP)s.

  • Attend, participate, and problem solve during site visits from concept through construction.

  • Review drawings and specifications and ensure that all projects are designed and executed to applicable codes and statutes

  • Work with stakeholders to provide civil engineering resources to develop project scope including design, planning and code compliance for estimation and feasibility.

  • Resolve design issues creatively and thoroughly coordinating design with other disciplines.

  • Develop clear technical analyses and recommend frameworks to inform executive review and approval.

  • Partner with internal teams to develop, maintain, communicate, and enforce Walt Disney Company design guidelines, standards, master specifications, and details.

  • As the owner's representative, you'll review with a focus on constructability, efficiency, and long-term maintainability.

  • Liaison with City officials and external agencies to ensure project scope and implementation is coordinated and compliant with external requirements.

  • Research Record Drawings in Disneyland Archives.

  • Perform field work to investigate and assess mechanical related infrastructure in the Resort.

  • Independently review new and existing design drawings and calculations.

  • Review shop drawing submittals and respond to vendor requests for information per Resort standards.

  • Coordinate design activities and monitor field installations and demolition work that comply with specifications and code requirements.

  • Perform reviews of existing infrastructure: propose upgrades and replacements, present findings and recommendations.

  • Serve as Engineer of Record on assigned projects, including signing and sealing construction documents when required.

  • Design with focus on constructability, efficiency, and long-term maintainability.

  • Expedite the receipt of sample submittals required for final design approval.

  • Participate in weekly design coordination meetings and prioritize items to minimize schedule impacts.

  • Assist Project and Design Managers to resolve design compliance issues relating to Projects requirements. Validate that all Item Specifications are consistent with products installed before archiving manuals.

  • Support Executive Design Reviews by contributing technical content, analysis, and coordination as requested by Project or Design Management.

What We Look For

  • 10+ years of experience in mechanical engineering design, HVAC/DX/VRF/CHW applications, central plant development and operational guidance, hydraulics, hydronics, compressed air, overall kitchen designs and implementation.

  • Ability to support project partners in procurement and construction.

  • Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, ACC, and other engineering-based software.

  • Working knowledge of both National and Local Standards and Codes.

Required Education and Licensure

  • BS Mechanical Engineering or related field from an ABET accredited university.

  • Current registration as a Professional Engineer in the State of California in good standing.
