Under the supervision of the Senior Director of Clinical Education, the RN Professional Development Specialist supports curriculum design and virtually facilitates experiential learning activities (ELA) within the Clinical Academy. This role primarily supports Critical Care and related Nurse Residency and Fellowship programs, as well as professional development offerings such as preceptor and charge nurse development. The specialist delivers learning experiences to a diverse group of nurse learners across the five states in the Central Division and is responsible for the assessment, design, implementation, evaluation, and continuous improvement of learning experiences using innovative, technology enabled approaches. Responsibilities include instructional design support, consultation on training strategies and skill based learning (skills labs), and delivery of virtual, case based client care experiences (simulation). OVERVIEW

This position represents low-income individuals and other vulnerable populations, including older adults and caregivers, in a broad range of elder law matters. The role supports older adults and caregivers in addressing civil legal barriers that affect their ability to age in place, including elder abuse, financial exploitation, consumer scams, housing and residential placement, age discrimination, advance health care planning, long-term care and estate planning, guardianship, income instability, and family law matters. In addition, the position engages in community legal education, senior outreach, the provision of general legal information, and the development of collaborative partnerships with community-based organizations to better serve the aging population.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Regular client interaction includes completing intakes, conducting interviews, and providing legal assistance such as brief advice, limited services, and full representation. 
  2. Research and interpret laws, rulings, and regulations applicable to cases assigned as well as prepare and review legal writings for the court or administrative agencies. 
  3. Representing and advising clients in a variety of civil law matters affecting clients’ independence, including, but not limited to: elder abuse, financial exploitation, public benefits, long-term care benefits, landlord/tenant issues, foreclosure prevention, homestead issues, debt collection, consumer scams, guardianship, age discrimination, estate planning, custody by extended family members, and dissolution of marriage. 
  4. Developing and maintaining a referral process between community partners and CLS.
  5. Identifying legal needs of older adults and caregivers and developing legal educational programs to address those needs. 
  6. Conducting training and outreach with the community organization’s managers, staff, subagencies, and volunteers and supporting the firm’s overall mission.

Climate Control Resources LLC, a trusted HVAC leader in Prescott, Arizona for over 20 years, is hiring experienced technicians. We specialize in commercial and industrial applications, plus some unusual niches, as well as maintenance, automated controls, performance optimization, and chilled water systems. We are approximately 10% Residential, 20% niche, and 70% small commercial to industrial environments.

Key Responsibilities & What You Will Do:

* Install, service, troubleshoot, repair, inspect and maintain primarily commercial HVAC systems, including chillers, boilers (boiler knowledge, for example in a hospital setting - a big plus), air handlers, cooling towers, commercial refrigeration, and occasional residential projects.
* Diagnose issues with heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and related mechanical/electrical components in (mostly) commercial settings.
* Perform preventive maintenance, system startups, and efficiency upgrades to ensure reliable operation and compliance with regulations.
* Optimize efficiency with automated controls and energy upgrades.
* Read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals; use diagnostic tools and controls software.
* Respond to emergency service calls and provide on-site solutions for critical commercial clients.
* Maintain accurate records, truck inventory, and safety protocols (OSHA, EPA standards).
* Mentor junior techs when needed and collaborate with project managers/engineers.
* Deliver exceptional customer service and problem-solving (especially the latter, be able to think through weird situations and come up with novel out of the box solutions).

Working Conditions:

* Ability to handle the physical workload.
* Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work at heights/ladders, and handle physical demands of industrial sites.
* Moderate physical effort is required, including standing, ladders, squatting, sitting for extended periods of time and exposure to the physical risks that come with working in HVAC.
* Reliable, safety-focused, and customer-oriented with good communication skills (we cannot overstate the importance of good communication skills as this is a mission-critical element with us).
* Work is performed in commercial, industrial and residential properties (mechanical rooms, in-home, attics, garages, crawl spaces, roofs).
* Willingness to work occasional overtime/on-call for emergency industrial needs.

Important Requirements:

* 5+ years of residential or commercial HVAC experience strongly preferred (we don't rule out ambitious newer technicians, but your actual skill level and capacity to show your knowledge will be thoroughly tested).
* Strong troubleshooting skills in large-scale systems, including chillers, cooling towers, and industrial / commercial setting.
* Mechanically inclined individual MUST have at minimum the basic tools of your trade.
* You MUST have a valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record.
* Must be efficient, organized and computer savvy (we use BuildOps as our FSM, so experience with that or other FSM's like ServiceTitan is a plus), and proficient at using laptops and tablets in the field.
* Ability to work with a high degree of integrity and promote a positive company image.
* Honest, dependable, self-motivated (super important to us), hard working (should go without saying), and have long-term goals with a willingness to work out of town when necessary (not a regular thing, but it does and will happen) and be occasionally on-call.
* Experienced plumbers and electricians looking to expand their skills are also welcome to apply.
* Knowledge of automated controls - increasingly a-must in this industry.
* EPA 608 (or equivalent) certification, along with other certs, is appreciated, and valid driver's license is a requirement.
* Strong diagnostics, safety focus, and communication skills.
* Punctual and utterly reliable - if you are those things, plus experienced or a diamond in the rough, good odds we can get you where you need to be on almost everything else.
* Love to learn new things, ideally to the point it's borderline pathological is a huge compensating plus.

Responsibilities

LiRo’s Virtual Design, Construction & Operations (VDCO) group is seeking a motivated VDC/BIM Intern to support ongoing infrastructure, transportation, and building projects. This 3 month summer internship offers hands-on exposure to real-world BIM and VDC workflows and an opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals on active projects.

The ideal candidate has foundational technical skills, curiosity, and a strong interest in learning and applying emerging technologies in the AEC industry.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the VDCO team with 3D modeling and BIM-related tasks to support design and construction workflows.
  • Support development and maintenance of Revit-based models for existing conditions, design coordination, and as-built documentation
  • Participate in Navisworks model aggregation, basic coordination, and visualization tasks
  • Support visualization efforts using game engines and/or rendering software as needed
  • Assist with preparation of drawings, graphics, and presentation materials
  • Learn and support reality capture, laser scanning, and model-based workflows under guidance of senior staff
  • Collaborate with project teams and follow established BIM standards and workflows

 

 



Qualifications

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of Autodesk Revit
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, Navisworks, and Rhino
  • Basic skills in 3D modeling and spatial understanding
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, BIM, or a related field
  • Strong interest in BIM, VDC, and construction technology
  • Willingness to learn new tools, workflows, and industry best practices
  • Professional and clear verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to work independently, with direction and supervision, and in a team environment.
  • Enrolled and actively pursuing an accredited Master’s degree program; recommended degrees include and are not limited to Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or other related field of study, and at minimum 1 year of completed education, and/or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Preferred (Nice to Have):

  • Exposure to BIM coordination, 4D/5D concepts, or visualization workflows
  • Familiarity with point clouds, laser scanning, or reality capture is a plus
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite or visualization tools is a plus
  • Experience with Scripting tools Rhino Grasshopper and/or Revit Dynamo is desired
  • Experience with Modeling & Rendering software such as Unreal, Lumion, 3ds Max, Twin Motion is desired
