Job Description:
Sell and promote all Pacific Edge Wine Spirits brands through personally opening up new accounts;
and directly selling the product to the retail customer.
Work to leverage new and existing accounts to promote and sell the entire Pacific Edge Wine Spirits
portfolio.
Maintaining a relentless pursuit of sales for all Pacific Edge items into major high profile on and off
premises outlets, suggesting and creating custom programs, and doing product tastings throughout
your designated territory.
Report to Sales Manager in respective markets; you will also be taking direction from other company
executives regarding other sales and operational issues.
Maintain, protect and grow existing business within respective territory.
Identify and capitalize on new opportunities within the market for current and future accounts.
Be knowledgeable so you can be the “go to” representative of craft spirits for both on and off Premise
accounts in your territory.
Be able communicate and represent Pacific Edge Wine & Spirits core values, goals and objectives
throughout the market.
Be 100% compliant - to know, understand and follow California beverage alcohol laws as it pertains to
your job in wholesale liquor sales.
Be a source of knowledge regarding products and education for all accounts both on and off premise
accounts.
Lead staff trainings and regular tastings.
Work with suppliers when they come to the market to focus on building their business as well as ours.
Maintain and keep regular samples in good condition along with other company or supplier POS.
Discretely communicate pricing and sales opportunities with key accounts.
Identify and communicate competitive information in the market.
Report daily to manager, utilizing CRM and attend weekly meetings.
80% of the job should be spent in the field calling on accounts. The other 20% should be spent
administratively planning your days, following up on accounts receivables, placing orders and other
miscellaneous responsibilities.
Qualifications:
Minimum 2+ years in selling within the beverage alcohol industry (sales experience required)
Must live in territory assigned or very close
Must own or lease a car with clean driving record and valid CA driver's license
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Professional communication skills - email, phone & in person
Results driven, organized and comfortable in a fast-paced environment

The Role
We’re looking for a driven, strategic Wholesale & Partnerships Account Executive to help build Forme’s wholesale and professional channel business from the ground up. This role will be instrumental in expanding our presence across specialty retail, golf, performance, and medical/wellness channels in the U.S.

What You’ll Do
New Business Development
- Build and manage a target list of wholesale and professional accounts
- Own the full sales cycle from prospecting and outreach to product presentations, assortment recommendations, negotiation, and closing
Account Onboarding & Growth
- Onboard new accounts with curated assortments, merchandising guidance, and product education
- Drive sell-through and reorders by monitoring performance, recommending mix adjustments, and planning light activations
- Serve as the primary relationship owner for assigned accounts
Education, Storytelling & Trade Marketing
- Partner with marketing and product to tailor sell-in materials by channel
- Support staff education so partners can confidently explain Forme and identify the right customer
- Gather and share structured field feedback to improve messaging and go-to-market execution
Process & Reporting
- Track pipeline, account activity, and forecasts in CRM
- Report on new doors, revenue by account and channel, and sell-through trends
- Help refine the wholesale playbook, including door criteria, standard terms, and onboarding cadence
Must-Have Experience
- 4–8+ years in wholesale or B2B sales within:
- Premium technical/outdoor apparel, activewear, sports, footwear, or health/wellness brands
- Specialty retail, golf/pro shops, performance, or medical/wellness channels
- Proven track record of:
- Opening new accounts (not just managing inherited territories)
- Hitting or exceeding sales targets
- Working with high-touch, relationship-driven partners

Key Responsibilities
• Drive customer demand by maintaining regular direct contact with

As the Trade Show Manager, you will take a leading role in planning, coordinating, and executing trade shows and events to reach our target audiences, including pro-contractors, hardware dealers/distributors, and the media. Essential Job Duties
- Work with the senior communications manager as well as product management, channel marketing, brand marketing, operations, and senior management on a full range of trade show activities. This will include live trade shows in major convention venues.
- Build the annual Makita U.S.A. trade show calendar and budget.
- Work with our off-site logistics partner to manage and track asset inventory and display tool inventory for use at trade shows. This includes inspection and inventory reconciliation as well as routine maintenance and repairs.
- Collaborate with in-house marketing staff and vendors to build booth assets, including structures and signage.
- Work with the in-house product management team (and occasionally outside vendors) to create demonstrations of key Makita products.
- Create effective lead collection tactics at trade shows.
- Coordinate show orders and shipping for select events.
- Coordinate on-site details for select events, including shipping and receiving, staffing, and set-up.

Work Environment

EVENTS: This position will include indoor and outdoor events. The work environmental characteristics for these events include the following:

- In rare instances, activity goes into the night and proceeds until completion, rain or shine.

Key Responsibilities
Marketing & Brand Execution
- Develop and update marketing materials, presentations, and branded collateral
- Create polished proposals, development memorandums, and investor packages
- Maintain consistency in brand standards across all materials
- Design documents using Canva and Adobe Acrobat Pro
- Convert proposals into interactive flipbooks and presentation-ready formats
Proposal & Development Support
- Prepare proposals and memorandums for potential clients, municipalities, and investors
- Assist in assembling development project packages
- Update pitch decks and investor presentations
- Coordinate document revisions and version control
Social Media & Digital Presence
- Manage company social media accounts (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram)
- Schedule and publish posts using pre-designed templates
- Assist in light content creation and brand messaging
- Monitor engagement and maintain posting consistency
Project & Administrative Support
- Assist in organizing development-related documentation
- Support marketing-related tasks currently managed by leadership
- Track deadlines and help ensure proposal timelines are met
Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years experience in marketing, business development, or proposal coordination
- Strong design capabilities using Canva
- Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat Pro (editing, formatting, compiling documents)
- Experience creating presentations in PowerPoint or similar platforms
- Familiarity with Microsoft Project
- Experience creating digital flipbooks or interactive presentation documents
- Strong writing, formatting, and proofreading skills
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
Preferred Background
- Experience in real estate, development, construction, or professional services
- Experience preparing investor or client-facing proposals
- Ability to take initiative and manage multiple projects independently
- Strong aesthetic judgment and document design skills
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required. Relevant experience will be strongly considered.

As the Trade Show Specialist, you will take an important role in planning, coordinating, and executing trade shows and events to reach our target audiences, including pro contractors, hardware dealers/distributors, and the media. You will help communicate the Makita Advantage to these audiences by creating and executing event plans that include compelling signage and graphics, hands-on product demonstrations, dynamic display structures, efficient lighting, effective lead collection, and more.
Areas of focus will range from budget and calendar planning to asset co-design and sourcing, inventory management, and hands-on activity, including booth set-up and on-site management at select events.
Your efforts will be a key part of our daily efforts to increase awareness and drive demand for Makita products. These include industry-leading battery-powered tools and outdoor power equipment as well as vacuums and cleaning products, lighting, radios and speakers, job site apparel, modular storage, a full line of premium accessories, and more.

Essential Job Duties
- Work with the senior communications manager as well as product management, channel marketing, brand marketing, operations, and senior management on a full range of trade show activities. This will include live trade shows in major convention venues.
- Build the annual Makita U.S.A. trade show calendar and budget.
- Work with our off-site logistics partner to manage and track asset inventory and display tool inventory for use at trade shows. This includes inspection and inventory reconciliation as well as routine maintenance and repairs.
- Collaborate with in-house marketing staff and vendors to build booth assets, including structures and signage.
- Work with the in-house product management team (and occasionally outside vendors) to create demonstrations of key Makita products.
- Create effective lead collection tactics at trade shows.
- Coordinate show orders and shipping for select events.
- Coordinate on-site details for select events, including shipping and receiving, staffing, and set-up.

Skills Required
- Familiarity with trade show and event processes, including budget and planning, arranging shipping, and on-site booth set-up. Ordering and tracking on-site show services is a plus, but not required.
- Experience in building and managing a budget.
- Strong ability to proactively coordinate numerous projects while maintaining follow-up and follow-through skills.
- Ability to learn: Obtain knowledge and understanding of our power tools, competition, target professional users, the product applications, and the types of dealers that support the users.
- Excellent critical thinking, interpersonal, communication, time-management, and problem-solving skills
- Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, percentages, and area.
- Presentation skills: Organize information and present to both internal and external audiences.
- The ability to work under pressure and with constantly changing priorities
- Computer Skills: Knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications, including core apps (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) as well as cloud services, including OneDrive and SharePoint. AI knowledge is a plus.

Work Environment
EVENTS: The work environmental characteristics for these events include the following:
- The employee may be exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions.
- In rare instances, activity goes into the night and proceeds until completion, rain or shine.
- The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, as well as risk of electrical shock and vibration. Personal protective equipment is provided, and professional labor is on hand to manage advanced electrical applications.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. At select trade shows, noise levels are similar to a construction job site. Hearing protection is provided.
Education and/or Experience Desired
- Education and/or Experience: Four-year college or university program, certificate, bachelor’s degree preferred. Preferred academic focus includes marketing, business, communications, or design
- Up to 3 years of experience in a marketing manager, coordinator, or specialist role, with related trade show and event experience preferred but not required.
Travel The expected travel for this role is up to 15%.
