Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Princeton, MN, and surrounding areas, for a Truck Driver/Septic Technician. The role involves operating trucks for the transportation of equipment and supplies for septic installations. Along with the loading and unloading of equipment and supplies. This role will also include occasional septic system maintenance such as pumping and repairs of septic systems. The individual will also communicate with clients and to ensure customer satisfaction. Also need to be able to lift 100 pounds, be self-motivated and able to work independently while working outdoors, which can sometimes be in adverse conditions.

This classification is represented by IBEW Local 1245, which has over 100 years of experience representing employees at PG&E. This job is subject to collective bargaining.

A coworker who has the qualifications of a Cable Splicer, is familiar with the underground system and has the experience and ability to analyze cable and equipment troubles quickly and to restore services promptly by replacing fuses, switching, disconnecting defective cables or apparatus, making repairs, etcetera. May be required to perform other underground work such us preparing cable racks, pulling in and racking cables, maintaining equipment in the underground system, etc. Shall install and maintain services, meters, and equipment including conduit and wiring up to the meter on customers' premises and shall handle trouble in such installations. Drives a truck and operates the associated equipment as assigned. Background of apprenticeship and experience must be such as to qualify an employee to perform these duties with skill and efficiency. Shall be familiar with Company's standards, procedures and safety regulations. 

 

This position may be subject to Joint Apprentice Training Committee (JATC) review and approval. Provisional hires will be required to participate in targeted training to achieve journey-level knowledge of electrical technician roles and responsibilities.

Job Responsibilities

 

  • Perform all necessary duties with skill and efficiency by performing maintenance on underground transmission and distribution lines.
  • Perform work in connection with the construction and maintenance of underground manholes, vaults, splice boxes, duct lines and similar structures.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Lead Security Technician to support commercial security system installations across projects in the Charleston, SC area. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing field crews, ensuring high-quality installations, and coordinating with project stakeholders to deliver successful security system deployments.

The ideal candidate brings strong experience in access control, CCTV, intrusion systems, door hardware, and structured cabling, along with the ability to lead teams and maintain professional jobsite standards.

Key Responsibilities

Field Leadership

  • Lead and supervise installation teams on active job sites
  • Assign daily tasks and ensure productivity and quality standards are met
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between field teams and project leadership
  • Maintain jobsite organization, safety compliance, and workflow efficiency

Security System Installation

  • Install, terminate, and troubleshoot:
  • Access control systems
  • CCTV / IP camera systems
  • Intrusion detection systems
  • Install and wire door hardware including:

  • Card readers and keypads

Cabling & Infrastructure

  • Comprehensive understanding of the components of mechanical, plumbing, and fire protection systems that require power, with the ability to integrate those requirements into the electrical design.
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk for extended periods, with occasional bending and the capacity to lift up to 10 lbs. as needed.
