DESCRIPTION:

Southern Arizona Legal Aid, Inc. (SALA) provides free legal assistance to low-income people over 9 counties and 11 Indian Reservations in Southeastern Arizona. We are seeking to fill positions in our Casa Grande and Sacaton offices.

The attorney assigned to the Casa Grande office will make regular appearances in Pinal County Superior Court, the county's Justice Court precincts, and various administrative tribunals. Travel to meet with clients and appear at hearings across the county is required. Much of the work involves landlord/tenant, family, and consumer law. The attorney will participate in community outreach at locations throughout the county to increase public awareness of legal aid services. Casa Grande, located halfway between Phoenix and Tucson, is a vibrant, multicultural city offering a family-oriented environment with easy access to urban amenities.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Applicants must be a member of the Arizona Bar or be willing to take the next bar exam. Applicants licensed at least two years in another jurisdiction may practice by special rule, Ariz. R. Sup. Ct. 38. Criminal background check required.
• Applicants should have zero to five years' experience, including internships and third-year practice under the supervision of a licensed attorney.
• Applicants must exhibit a high degree of sensitivity to the problems of the low-income community and be able to work with low income and community groups. They should have initiative, good communication skills, and the ability to work well in a multi-cultural setting
• Applicants should be knowledgeable in the area of general civil practice on behalf of the low-income community. Spanish fluency is preferred and rewarded.

COMPENSATION:

Salary range $58,656-$101,915 DOE; Up to five percent additional compensation to individuals fluent in Spanish. Payment of bar exam and admission fees for those not yet admitted. Student loan repayment assistance. Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) eligibility. Excellent benefits package including health insurance, disability insurance, and pension plan. We’re searching for an Outside Sales Representative who can explode new business, drive innovation, and expand and maintain a pipeline of Liquidation/Value customers.

What You’ll Do

• Aggressively drive new business growth by exploding Novelty Inc portfolio sales with Independent Retailers & Operators across multiple channels. Meet monthly KPI for new business acquisitions
• Achieve and exceed KPIs tied to Revenue Growth, Did Buys, and Points of Distribution, Innovation Launches, and Activities (Calls/Emails/Meetings), using clear performance metrics to guide strategy and execution
• Drive profitable sales growth by increasing the Average Invoice Amount (AIA) across all orders while strengthening performance within a defined portfolio of Core Accounts through consistent relationship management, opportunity development, and execution of account plans
• Create and maintain a cadence appropriate for each Core Account customer
• Strategically transition lower-performing accounts to Inside Sales, and support Inside Sales efforts to drive overall revenue growth
• Develop account-specific forecasts & growth plans that align with KPI expectations by identifying retail strategies & tactics required to hit quarterly and annual targets
• Grow the territory by converting new leads from CRM pipeline sequencing, trade shows (travel required), and proactive phone outreach into active buying accounts, while maintaining ongoing engagement and increasing revenue contribution from these sources
• Partner with sales operations, field teams, marketing, and supply chain to ensure flawless execution
• Identify whitespace opportunities and demonstrate how Novelty Inc. elevates performance in any retail environment
• Deliver all Management requests/assignments in a timely manner with consistent contributions to team meetings
• Maintain pricing integrity with multiple routes to market & customers

Who You Are

• Experienced (1+ years) in Outside Sales within CPG, DSD, retail services, or multi-channel retail

• Skilled at selling to multiple retail channels and tailoring value propositions accordingly
• Motivated by commission growth via expanding buying accounts and product placements

• Confident in planning, presenting, pitching, influencing, and owning the full sales cycle

Key Responsibilities (Essential duties are those tasks that are critical to the role but may not identify all tasks associated with role which may at any time be assigned by the immediate supervisor)

• Help Electrical Department Manager and estimating group selects projects to bid.
• Coordinate bidding activities with the estimating group to focus on combined opportunities.
• Coordinate between departments to avoid pitfalls between specifications sections.
• Interpret specifications, blueprints and addendums.
• Prepare and communicate requests for information to clarify project scope during estimating process.
• Evaluate most efficient methods of installation and material usage to minimize projected costs/bids.
• Develop pricing/bid strategies with vendors/subcontractors to maximize competiveness at bid time.
• Use “Estimation/Digital Takeoff” estimating program or approved substitute program.
• Prepare competitive bids as required (bid forms, budgets, etc.…) to meet the project’s needs.
• Make notes or clarifications on Contract/ field drawing to assist Electrical Department Manager, Superintendent and foreman with installation.
• Review with Electrical Superintendent job estimate and takeoff as to when to mobilize project, material and manpower requirements.
• Prepare material purchase orders and subcontracts after scoping out/negotiating with the different parties for the best pricing.
• Review with shipping/receiving as to project equipment needs and material deliveries.
• Conduct and/or attend turnover meetings for contracted projects and provide budgetary information and defined scope to operations group.
• Coordinate with Drafting Department when Cad/shop drawings are needed, to help avoid conflicts with other in house trades
• Attend monthly department meetings if requested.
• Attend pre-bid meetings as requested.
• Attend weekly estimating meeting.
• Attend closeout meetings to review outcome of projects and compare estimate to actual costs.
• Along with Department Manager explore new areas to expand Department revenue.
• Establish and maintain working relationships with potential clients and designers.
• Attend organization meetings and like activities to promote business for electrical/B&I.
• The Electrical Department Manager may at any time add other responsibilities.

Qualifications (Minimum requirements are those concerned with the very minimal qualifications sought for the role to include “education, experience, licenses, certificates, permits, etc., appropriate to the role)

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings and sketches.
• Full knowledge and understanding of all electrical products, equipment and installation procedures.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Five (5) years previous Estimating and Management experience.
