Organizes and secures directory structure and assists/trains staff members in the use of department Document Management (DM) Systems, associated databases and Configuration Management (CM)/ DM release procedures Specifies hardware requirements and provides Computer Authorization and custodial receipt listings to track equipment configurations and identification logs Serves as point of contact (POC) for problem reporting, incremental version updates and monitors yearly support contracts Makes recommendations for future hardware/software implementations and related process improvements, schedules, plans and performs system upgrades including the transition from design, test, production and documentation environments Provides operational status as required Uses established policies, procedures, and subject matter knowledge to complete complex assignments requiring originality and ingenuity performed under minimum supervision with considerable latitude for independent contribution Analyzing system logs and identifying potential issues with computer systems.

SALARY The expected pay range for this position is $125,000 to $150,000 annually.

- Intensive Care Unit Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Roanoke, Virginia.
Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ICU
- Intensive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 03/30/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN
- ICU Job Details:
- Work as Whole House Resource Pool RN floating between ICU, PCU, and MS units
- 3x12 hour shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM (4x12s available by request)
- Must be comfortable working all three specialties with ratios up to 1:5
- Float every 4 hours as staffing needs are re-evaluated (may float 2-3 times per shift)
- Weekend requirement: Either every other weekend or 6 weekend shifts in 6-week block
- Must work one holiday per 13-week contract
- EPIC charting experience required
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
- 2 years of ICU experience from large L1/L2 facility required
- Patient ratios: ICU 2:1, PCU 5:1, MS 6:1 (may flex up to 7:1)
- Must be skilled in IV therapy, phlebotomy, arterial line management, central line care, blood product administration
- Experience with BiPAP/CPAP, ventilated patients, cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia management required
- Capable of managing continuous IV sedation, emergency medications, cardiac/vasoactive drips
- 24-hour orientation provided
- Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
- Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks Facility: This 703-bed acute care teaching hospital serves as a flagship medical facility and is the region's only Level I Trauma Center for both adult and pediatric patients.
The hospital is Magnet-designated for nursing excellence and affiliated with a medical school.
It features advanced specialty care, a dedicated children's hospital, and maintains certification as an Advanced Thrombectomy Capable Stroke Center, providing comprehensive emergency and critical care services to the community.
