The Registered Nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning for the care of the patient. The Registered Nurse is responsible and accountable for the planning, directing, and provision of nursing care to patients in accordance with the N.H. Nurse Practice Act, recognized nursing techniques, and both clinical and administrative policies. The Registered Nurse functions in the role of Registered Nurse First Assistant after meeting credentialing criteria and carries out functions that will assist the surgeon in performing a safe operation with optimal results for the patient. The RNFA practices under the supervision of the surgeon during the first assisting phase of the intraoperative role. The RNFA does not function concurrently as a scrub/circulator during the RNFA component of surgical patient care. The RNFA also functions when not first assisting in the RN perioperative role.

• • You must possess In-depth knowledge of surgical operation procedures, including da Vinci Robot (SI), orthopedic, neuro, and general surgery
  • You will assess patient's condition and monitor vitals, providing general nursing care before and after surgery
  • You will ensure that the Operating Room is prepared with all necessary supplies, implants, instrumentation, and equipment
  • You will keep the operating room sterilized
  • You will pass medical instruments to the surgeons during operation
  • In this role, you will review charts for completeness, in accordance with documentation protocols prior to and after the surgical procedure
  • Communicate effectively with patients, teammates, and physicians to ensure continuity of care

  REQUIREMENTS

• Active NH Registered Nurse license or compact Registered Nurse license
• Associate Degree in Nursing
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• Certified Registered Nurse First Assistant (CRNFA), or Certified First Assistant, or Certified Surgical First Assistant (CFA)

The Certified Surgical Tech First Assist (CSTFA) will provide essential support to the surgical team by evaluating and coordinating activities during surgical procedures. Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma or GED required and completion of an accredited surgical first assistant program. Associates degree preferred.

Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as Surgical Tech. Preferred experience as a CSFA or SA-C in diverse surgical specialties and proficiency with robotic and minimally invasive surgical
techniques.

• Must possess valid NC, SC or NR EMT Certification (EMT-B, EMT-I, EMT-P). SC and NR EMT's must obtain NC EMT
• Certification within 90 days of employment.
• Must possess a current American Heart Association CPR Healthcare Provider or MEDIC/ Mecklenburg County Focused CPR Certification
• Must possess a valid and current Driver's License.
• Ability to demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to recognize problems and propose solutions.
• Ability to exercise good judgment regardless of circumstance.
• Ability to work nights, weekends and holiday periods to meet business needs.

Are you an experienced Physician Assistant (PA) or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) with First Assist certification, looking to make a meaningful impact with a growing trauma team? HonorHealth Osborn Medical Center, a designated Level I Trauma Center in Scottsdale, Arizona, is seeking skilled and motivated Advanced Practice Providers to join our dynamic team.

Position Highlights:

• Full-time day/evening shift position with flexible shift-based scheduling
• 7-5pm & 11-9pm
• Collaborate closely with trauma surgeons, hospitalists, and other interdisciplinary team members
• Support a diverse and high-acuity patient population in a fast-paced environment

Requirements:

• Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) with First Assist certification
• Minimum 1 year of experience in trauma, general surgery and/or ICU
• Arizona licensure (or ability to obtain prior to start)
