The Role

Adyen is looking for a leader to build and scale our commercial presence in North America.This role will work from our San Francisco or New York office and report directly to the President of North America with a dotted line to the SVP of Marketing.

The VP of Marketing, North America is responsible for creating Adyen’s marketing strategy to drive marketing goals in alignment with the commercial strategy, with a heavy focus on new customer acquisition. In this role, you will build out the regional marketing organization in alignment with commercial priorities and our global marketing strategy.

The ideal candidate has a strong commercial mindset, is motivated to form an intimate understanding of Adyen’s business model and commercial organization, and demonstrates excellent communication skills. We are looking for an experienced leader who thrives in an international environment and is passionate about coaching marketers to create successful programs throughout the funnel. This is a matrixed role requiring collaboration across time zones.

What You'll Do

  • Translate regional commercial priorities and the global marketing strategy into a regional approach, with a strong focus on net new customer acquisition across owned, earned, and paid channels.
  • Build, coach, and lead the marketing team(s) in NA on individual and organizational team goals in line with business objectives.
  • Lead the regional marketing team towards an increasingly data-driven way of working. Plan, optimize, and evaluate spend in alignment with global and regional marketing priorities to drive a strong return on investment.
  • Work globally as a part of marketing leadership to surface and resolve global challenges, implement solutions, and uphold a shared standard of excellence and collaboration.
  • Work regionally as a part of NA commercial leadership to ensure the success of the US and Canada.
  • Manage goal setting, planning, spend allocation, and team planning in NA together with global marketing and regional commercial leadership. Work with the regional and local teams to translate the strategy into powerful execution.
  • Work closely with the global marketing leadership to ensure the successful implementation of global and regional initiatives.

Who You Are

  • Executive-level experience working in a multi-dimensional marketing role, with experience across the full marketing mix (owned, earned, and paid).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, which allow you to quickly build rapport with teams across different markets.
  • You like to understand the ROI of marketing activities and foster an iterative way of working and learning to drive strong results.
  • A strategic and commercial mindset, with a proven track record of liaising with commercial functions to deliver impactful marketing programs.
  • A respected and trusted leader with experience in coaching and developing teams to perform at their best capacity.
  • Fluent spoken and written English is a requirement.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally 20%+.
  • This role is based in San Francisco or New York.
  • Adyen values in-person collaboration, and we are an office-first company.
  • Some international travel may be required.

Compensation

  • The base salary range for this role is $270,000-$370,000 plus RSUs.

Position Summary

EarnIn is seeking an innovative, customer-focused, and results-driven Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to join our Executive Leadership Team (ELT) . As CMO, you will play a pivotal role in shaping EarnIn's marketing vision, leading transformative growth initiatives, and scaling customer acquisition efforts in a dynamic, fast-paced, and consumer-centric environment.

This high-impact role is ideal for a proven marketing leader with a track record of crafting unique product positioning, driving successful product launches, optimizing marketing channels, and fostering organic engagement. You'll be instrumental in ensuring the brand’s tone and voice resonate deeply with our customers, creating a beloved and cohesive identity. Beyond execution, this position requires a strategic thinker who contributes to high-level decision-making and drives collaboration across the organization.

As a key member of the ELT, you will report directly to the CEO, leading and empowering the marketing organization to deliver on EarnIn’s vision and ambitious growth objectives. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of our brand and customer relationships.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is$375,000 - $475,000 + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.

Responsibilities

  • World Class Product Positioning: Strengthen EarnIn’s market position by overseeing a cohesive positioning and messaging strategy that differentiates and celebrates the company’s innovative products. Ensure consistent messaging across products and channels to enhance brand awareness and drive growth.
  • High Growth Strategy Development: Lead a comprehensive marketing roadmap that aligns with EarnIn’s growth strategy and customer acquisition, engagement, and revenue growth goals. Identify, build, and scale paid and organic marketing channels to drive revenue growth.
  • Product Launch and GTM Leadership: Lead product launch initiatives to drive adoption and retention. Develop and manage demand generation campaigns, optimizing customer acquisition, and nurturing customer relationships to fuel sustainable growth.
  • Lead Grassroots Growth: Develop and implement grassroots marketing efforts, leveraging community engagement and local partnerships to drive brand awareness and customer acquisition.
  • Customer-Centric Marketing: Build upon a deep understanding of our customer and analytics to create personalized, targeted campaigns aimed at enhancing customer engagement, increasing lifetime value (LTV), and improving return on ad spend (ROAS).
  • Cross Functional Collaboration and Team Leadership: Build and mentor a high-performing marketing team, ensuring strong alignment between marketing and product teams.

What We’re Looking For

Marketing Leadership: 10+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience, preferably in B2C environments, with a proven ability to scale and drive impactful strategies.

  • Product Positioning & Launch Expertise: Demonstrated success in crafting unique product positioning and executing impactful product launches that drive user acquisition, engagement, and retention.
  • Channel Growth & Optimization: Proven experience in scaling and optimizing paid, organic, and grassroots marketing channels to achieve measurable growth.
  • Process & Framework Development: Expertise in designing and implementing scalable product marketing processes and frameworks that drive efficiency and results.
  • Data-Driven Decision-Making: Strong analytical skills with a deep understanding of data analytics, customer segmentation, and performance metrics to inform and optimize marketing strategies.
  • Product and Market Innovation: Demonstrated ability to collaborate with product teams to develop and implement marketing strategies that effectively promote innovative products, ensuring alignment with market trends and customer needs.

What You’ll Do

Airwallex is looking for a world class B2B marketing leader to drive growth and further scale our North America business. You will work closely with commercial and strategy teammates, and will report directly to the President, Americas. You’ll act as a B2B marketing all-rounder and will accelerate our customer acquisition efforts via a mix of online and offline channels.

Responsibilities
  • Own Marketing strategy and planning - develop a comprehensive B2B Marketing strategy across all channels to acquire and retain customers to support the US businesses
  • Drive performance marketing - work with the North America Commercial team and Global Marketing team to plan and execute online performance campaigns including paid social, display, and SEM
  • Manage offline marketing campaigns - analyze opportunities and own the launch of offline campaigns, including first-and third-party events
  • Oversee local product launches - work with our strategy, go-to-market, and Product Marketing teams to launch new products in the Americas
  • Drive content marketing - partner with the Content Marketing team to lay out and execute a comprehensive content strategy, including industry-specific white papers
  • Optimize CRM strategy - work with the account management team and Global Marketing team to scale and optimize email marketing campaigns
  • Performance management - review, discuss, and analyze the current performance of marketing campaigns and iterate based on early findings
  • Deliver insights - surface customer insights that enrich our understanding of our buyer personas, and craft a value proposition that resonates with key segments
