We are seeking a Software Developer with strong SQL expertise to join our team. In this role, you’ll design, optimize, and maintain the SQL-based data backbone of our SaaS platform, while contributing to automation and AI-driven enhancements. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly analytical, and excited to work with large datasets, complex queries, and emerging AI tools to power smarter retail solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database structures to support the FieldStack platform.
• Work with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable database solutions.
• Enhance system performance by analyzing queries, indexing, and tuning for efficiency.
• Design and maintain data pipelines and integrations with automation tools and APIs.
• Support the integration of AI and machine learning models into the platform by preparing, structuring, and optimizing data.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance across environments.
• Document data models, processes, and workflows to support ongoing improvements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in SQL development (MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or similar).
• Strong knowledge of relational database design, indexing, and query optimization.
• Experience developing stored procedures, triggers, and views.
• Familiarity with data pipelines, ETL processes, and automation frameworks.
• Exposure to AI/ML concepts and a willingness to learn how to apply them to SQL-driven workflows.
• Proficiency in a programming/scripting language (e.g., Python, JavaScript, or C#) is a plus.
• Understanding of cloud database services (AWS RDS, Azure SQL, or GCP equivalents) is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
