As a Registered Nurse you will provide and direct safe, effective, and culturally-competent care for adolescent through aging patients under going cancer treatment and/or hospital based procedures. Key accountabilities include assessment, diagnosis, outcomes, identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care using critical thinking and evidenced-based practice; management of pain, symptoms associated with treatment and illness, and quality of life adherence to the Professional Practice Standards as defined by ANA; and active participation in quality monitoring and performance improvement activities.

Position Purpose
Mammography technologists operate a mammography unit to produce images of the breasts for diagnostic purposes under the direction of a physician. They explain the procedure to patients, position and immobilize the patient's breast in the unit, and observe the scanning process.
What you will do:
Checks all images for proper identification, positioning, coning, markers, technologist
initials, and good technical quality according to filming standards.Ensures that all requisitions are signed, that history information contain appropriate and
relevant clinical information and stickers are used appropriately.Maintains licensure requirements and continuously improves technical skills through
individual or class instruction.Monitors processor performance daily through sensitometry procedures.
Maintains accurate patient records and charges.Operates properly and demonstrate understanding of all mammography and bone densitometry equipment and computed radiograph, direct radiographs, and PACS.
Minimum Qualifications:

Graduate from an accredited school of Radiography is required
Current continuing education in mammography required
Ability to effectively prioritize work and work under stressful situations.
Ability to function in staff technologist role is required
Hospital experience as a Radiology Technologist is preferred
Successful completion of 40 hours of mammography training.
Licensure
Current Florida CRT license required
Current ARRT and ARRT Mammography [R.T.(R)(M)(ARRT)]registry required. If not Registered in Mammography at hire, must be within 90days of hire.

Position Purpose:
Our nurses assist with diagnostic and interventional procedures performed in the Cath Lab as well as cross training into the EP lab.
What you will Do:
Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care of patients.
Supervises and coordinates care provided by LPNs and PCAs.
Facilitates communication with physicians, families and other team members.
Hours/Schedule:
7 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
.9 FTE. days
Must take call during the week and every third weekend
Must be within 20-30 minutes of Medical Center while on call
Minimum Qualifications:
Current IA RN license
BSN preferred
Cardiac experience strongly preferred

As a Registered Nurse at MercyOne, you will provide and direct safe, effective, and culturally competent care for patients with acute medical and surgical conditions. Through evidence-based practice, utilizes critical thinking to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate outcome-based care. The Acute Care RN manages a diverse patient population with varying levels of acuity, including post-operative, medical, telemetry, and neurologic patients. Supervises and coordinates care provided by LPNs, Patient Care Assistants, and other nursing team members. Facilitates communication with physicians, patients and families, and interdisciplinary team members. Adheres to MercyOne’s performance expectations and upholds the Mission, Vision, and Values of MercyOne.
Essential Functions:
Conducts assessment
Identifies patient problems and develops plan of care
Implements outcome/goal - based plan of care
Evaluates patient progress and revises the outcome/goal - based plan as needed
Communicates relevant clinical information to the team to optimize patient outcomes/goals
Demonstrates clinical competence
Manages telemetry and cardiac monitoring when applicable
Provides care appropriate to the age-related needs of the patients served on his/her assigned unit
Adheres to all safety, infection control and colleague health policies and procedures
Maintains a working knowledge of applicable Federal, State, and local laws and regulations, Trinity Health’s Organizational Integrity Program, Standards of Conduct, as well as other policies and procedures in order to ensure adherence in a manner that reflects honest, ethical, and professional behavior.
Schedule:
.9 FTE (36 hours per week)
Three 12-hour shifts Monday-Thursday, minimal weekends
Night shift 7pm - 7:30am
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate degree in nursing required
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Registered Nurse in Iowa
American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) required
American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required only if the unit has telemetry monitoring capabilities
Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter – Child and/or Dependent Adult Abuse training within three (3) months of hire
