Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated Associate Attorney to join our team (1-3 years experience). The ideal candidate will have experience in either insurance defense work or plaintiff personal injury litigation. This dual-sided practice allows you to experience the stability of defense work with hourly fees, while also engaging in challenging and rewarding plaintiff personal injury litigation.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is eager to break out of the monotony of a one-dimensional legal career.
Responsibilities:
- Handle all aspects of litigation, including court appearances, depositions, motion practice, and discovery.
- Represent clients in both plaintiff and defense personal injury cases.
- Engage in business development activities to generate new clients and cases.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys to grow your skill set both in the courtroom and in managing the business of law.
- Participate in a dynamic, team-oriented work environment.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in personal injury litigation, either in insurance defense or plaintiff-side practice.
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
