Position Summary

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform electronic court filings in state and federal trial and appellate courts.
  • Docket and calendar all case-related deadlines, hearings, and critical dates, monitor and track compliance.
  • Establish, organize, and maintain pleadings, case files, trial notebooks, expert witness materials, document indexes, and exhibit lists.
  • Receive, review, and process legal documents, including pleadings, court orders, contracts, and related materials.
  • Review, index, outline, and summarize deposition transcripts and case documents.
  • Provide administrative and substantive support for depositions, hearings, and trial preparation.
  • Assist attorneys with a variety of litigation and administrative tasks as needed.
  • Coordinate and communicate with attorneys, paralegals, and other legal staff regarding case status and required information.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable court rules, legal procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate, complete, and well-organized case records and documentation.

Job Summary

The Otte group ( ) at the School of Physics and the Center for Relativistic Astrophysics (CRA) at the Georgia Institute of Technology invites applications for a postdoctoral position to work on the Trinity Neutrino Observatory, a next-generation experiment designed to detect ultra-high-energy neutrinos using air-shower imaging telescopes.

Trinity targets earth-skimming tau neutrinos above ~1 PeV through imaging of upward-going air showers near the horizon. The first phase of the project, the Trinity Demonstrator, is ongoing and has been in its physics data-taking phase for over a year, providing a timely opportunity to lead analyses while helping define the next stage of the experiment.

This is a full-time position, 40 hours weekly.

We seek a highly motivated candidate to play a central role in advancing Trinity's analysis and simulation program. The successful candidate will:

Lead the Monte Carlo simulation framework and analysis software development.

Lead analyses of Demonstrator data and drive publication efforts.

Help define the science reach, sensitivity projections, and performance requirements of Trinity One.

In addition, the candidate is expected to develop a strong and visible research program that connects Trinity's neutrino observations with the broader multi-messenger landscape, including gamma-ray, gravitational-wave, and cosmic-ray observatories.



Required Qualifications

Applicants must have:

  • A Ph.D. in Astroparticle Physics, High-Energy Physics, Astrophysics, or a closely related field.



Preferred Qualifications

  • Substantial experience in simulation and data analysis.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently within a collaborative research environment.

  • Experience with air-shower simulations, neutrino physics, statistical inference, detector modeling, or large-scale computing frameworks is highly desirable.

* Performs an appropriate physical examination on each patient seen, including; range of
motion testing, strength testing, sensation testing, palpation, functional testing,
ligamentous testing, and special tests as needed
* Orders and interpret diagnostic studies under the direction of a physician, including;
radiographs, MRIs, EMG studies, CT scans, diagnostic ultrasounds, rehabilitation
referrals, and physician referrals
* Provides educational responsibilities in specific to the needs of each individual patient,
including; exercise instruction and demonstration and answering patient questions in regards to the treatment plan, surgery, rehabilitation and future care
* Prepares patient for treatment/procedure in a timely manner.

* Performs treatment/procedures according to established guidelines
* Prepare and assist the physician with injection procedures done in the office
* Follows OSHA guidelines regarding body substance, isolation, disposal of sharps, etc.
* Documents accurately and timely in patient's record, all treatment/procedures done and
initials documentation.Minimum Qualifications:

* bachelor’s degree in athletic training, Physical Education, or Exercise Science or health
related profession required. Master’s Degree preferred.
* Current CPR/AED from American Heart Association certification required.
* First Assist Certification highly preferred.
LICENSURE:
* Nationally certified athletic trainer (ATC) and Florida state licensure required
