Parts Development – Powertrain Assistant Manager
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Understand program sourcing requirements and key milestones in support of product launch.
- Identify potential suppliers, analyze capabilities, determine pricing, and select suppliers in collaboration with Engineering and cross-functional teams.
- Select, develop, and manage the supply base for assigned commodities by:
- Preparing and owning RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs for multi-year full production volume

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE
Required:

About the Role
As a Product Designer, you are passionate creative, responsible for developing products and packaging for CURiO Brands that are innovative, beautiful, safe, and sellable to end consumers. You have a strong artist hand and are confident in illustration, painting, and other traditional mediums. You’ll leverage your unique talents, such as illustration and surface design, to create and source custom vessels (glass, metal, and ceramic) and secondary packaging (paper boxes, tubes, bags, labels, hangtags), through the opportunity to work on CURiO’s exciting brands Capri Blue, Thymes, and Otherland.

What You’ll Do
Design & Concept:
- Collaborate with Product Design Manager and team, along with Brand to research and concept new product ideas.
- Develop mood boards for new product collections and product formats.
- Push creative boundaries to drive great design and strong innovation.
- Proactively research market trends and innovation opportunities.
- Work with vendors to source and develop new techniques and manufacturing capabilities.
- Prepare creative presentations and present concepts to internal brand team and external customers.

Petrosmith, a trusted leader in the oilfield manufacturing and services industry, seeks an experienced and driven Senior Estimator to join our dynamic team. The Senior Estimator with support our Sales team in developing accurate, timely, and competitive cost estimates for engineered production and process equipment used in upstream and midstream oil and gas applications as well as other liquid and gas processing applications. Essential Job Functions:
- Provides accurate cost estimating services for incoming quotes regarding tanks, pressure vessels, piping, skids, controls, instrumentations and other custom-engineered equipment.
- Analyze RFQs, specifications, and drawings to determine scope, materials, labor, and timelines.
- Interpret and modify Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) and Process Flow Diagrams (PFD).

What You’ll Do:
● Identify customer bid invitations best suited to our expertise and capabilities
● Ensure timely submission of bid opportunities including necessary follow-up with both estimating team and customer
● Manage all bid/proposal progress within company Tracking Report Form
● Manage all change orders and T&M work and document for accounting including entry into Tracking System
● Review and authorize additional work including signed tickets and change orders making sure that all documents are signed and approved
● Serve as liaison between Field Management and Office estimating/project management team
● Work closely with field project leads, coordinate any/all additional work to make sure all necessary paperwork is completed and documented
● Manage vendor/supplier relationships and assist accounting as needed regarding job costs verification
● Oversee procurement process (job materials, equipment, rentals, etc) between Office and Field personnel
● Once project starts, identify all vendor requirements/costs and make sure to manage field costs per job, per project, on a daily/weekly basis
● Manage all daily production and time sheets from field (daily)
● Manage and update work-in-progress (completed work) monthly billings (AIA, Procore, Textura, GC Pay, Trimble)
● Ensure timely monthly billings are completed per contract specifications
● Work with accounting and field mgmt to update WIP/billings/collections
● Conduct weekly meetings with management providing dashboard of project updates including WIP status, job costs vs. job budget analysis, Bid Tracking Awards/pending/lost opps/contracts not started updates, completion dates of current WIP and new job start date status
What We’re Looking For:
● 5+ years of construction management experience; concrete experience a major plus and ideally preferred
● Strong job-cost management and WIP reporting skills
● Proficiency with QuickBooks Online, Excel, AIA documents, project software
● Ability to read and interpret drawings
● Proactive problem-solver with strong decision-making and multi-tasking abilities
● Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, hands-on approach

The Role:
The MEP Estimator is responsible for developing cost estimates for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems in various construction projects. This position involves collaboration with project managers, design teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure accurate budgeting and project forecasting for large-scale projects. The MEP Estimator plays a key role in the preconstruction process, contributing to informed decision-making and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed MEP estimates (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) for construction projects in the Mission Critical sector, in particular Data Centers
- Analyze project drawings, specifications, and addenda to determine project scope and required materials, labor, and equipment.
- Collaborate with internal teams (project management, engineering, procurement) and external parties (architects, subcontractors, vendors) to develop accurate cost estimates.
- Solicit and evaluate pricing from MEP subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitive and complete estimates.
- Prepare cost comparisons and value engineering options to optimize project efficiency and reduce costs without compromising quality.
- Track and monitor market trends, material pricing, and labor costs to ensure estimates are current and competitive.
- Provide risk analysis and identify potential project challenges related to MEP systems and budgets.
- Participate in client and team meetings to present estimates, address questions, and explain cost drivers.
- Support bid submissions and negotiate with subcontractors/vendors as needed.
- Maintain and update estimating databases, templates, and historical cost data.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in estimating MEP systems for construction projects.
- Strong understanding of MEP systems, codes, and construction methods.

Key Responsibilities
- Drive end‑to‑end supply chain strategy for hardware/robotic systems, balancing cost, quality, delivery, and risk across custom and off-the-shelf component inputs
- Build, maintain, and continuously improve the company’s Bill of Materials; implement should‑cost/clean‑sheet models; drive PPV tracking and BOM roll‑ups that tie to finance
- Preempt supply chain bottlenecks by proactively planning for future system builds
- •Identify and mitigate risk across the supply base (single‑source, geopolitical, commodity volatility); create continuity plans and buffer strategies aligned to program schedules
- •Develop and execute category strategies, multi‑source/dual‑source critical parts, and negotiate capacity reservations, LTAs, and commercial terms

Required Qualifications

Compensation
Base pay is one element of the Total Rewards package which will also include comprehensive benefits and equity. The annual base salary range for this position is from $130,000 - 180,000.
