Description: ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
· Applies professional nursing skills in the provision of the treatment of ill and injured patients utilizing the four aspects of the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
· Demonstrates ability to recognize and assess emergency needs of patients and initiate therapeutic procedures as needed within their scope of practice.
· Acts to facilitate interdisciplinary communication. Utilizes other members of the health care team in assessing the patient and analyzes patient data. Assesses learning needs of the patient and significant others. Gives accurate and complete information to patient and family.
· Coordination of care may include but not limited to:
· Dieticians
· Endoscopy
· Dental offices for dental extractions prior to therapy
· Home Care
· Hospice
· Palliative Care
· Pain Center
· Oncology Nurse Navigators
· VA and other health care centers
· American Cancer Society: travel services, accommodations, financial support, assist devices, etc.
· Medical/Surgical Oncology physicians
· Inpatient nursing units
· Counseling services – inpatient and outpatient
· Evaluates patient and family understanding of treatment plan and/or instructions
· Radiation treatment planning, delivery, follow up care
· Tube feeding management and ongoing education, support for home management of parenteral nutrition and site care.
· Medication management as prescribed
· Assists with a variety of procedures and exams.
· Endoscopic nasopharyngeal exams
· High dose radiation therapy GYN procedures
· High does radiation therapy breast Mammosite/SAVI treatments
· Tracheostomy management
· IV pump management
· Provides patient/family or caregiver education and counseling in recognition and solution of physical, emotional, and environmental health problems. Including but not limited to side effects of radiation therapy:
· Hypovolemia
· Skin care- radiation dermatitis
· Lymphoedema
· Mucositis
· Pain management – mild to severe-
· GI/GU system side effects
· Medication management /patient education
· Emotional support
· Maintains appropriate aseptic technique for preparation, procedures and medications administered.
· Dressing changes
· Wound drainage devices
· Assists patient with ambulation, elimination needs (toilet, urinal, bed pan) and undressing/ dressing protecting patients from injury/falls.
· Responsible for following instrument and equipment maintenance protocols.
· Reprocessing of HDR and LDR instrumentation
· Reprocessing of instrumentation
· Utilizes hospital information system to process data and retrieve patient information.
· Proficient in accessing and utilization of hospital patient information databases:
· PACS
· Works independently with limited direct supervision using Mercy Medical Center policies, nursing standards, and professional judgment.
· Maintains knowledge of equipment set-up, maintenance, and use (i.e., IV pumps, monitoring equipment, and drainage devices).
· Maintains confidentiality regarding all patient/personnel information.
· Must be a self-starter and able to work independently and make appropriate decisions within clinic guidelines.
· Accurately documents assessment and results in patient record.
· Proficient and accurate documentation in MOSAIQ and EPIC
· Management and documentation of patient and or family written records upon request:
· FMLA forms
· Disability forms
· Reports test results and pertinent information to patients and health care team members. Includes but not limited to:
· Physicians- on an ongoing basis throughout the day
· Radiation therapists
· Nursing team
· Utilizes professional and tactful communications at all times with all team members
· Maintains inventory and stocking of supplies.
· Participates in staff development activities and orientation as requested.
· Promotes a teamwork atmosphere.
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: · Possession of a current license as a RN issued by the State of Iowa. · Minimum of three years acute care experience. · Demonstrated ability to perform basic nursing skills in an outpatient setting. · Knowledge of principles of anatomy and physiology, pharmacology, and disease processes. · Basic Life Support (BLS) for the Healthcare Provider certified or obtained within three (3) months of hire. Acceptable credentialing bodies and certifications include American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers. · Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter abuse training specific to population served within three (3) months of hire. Position Purpose:
The Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit (NSICU) at Mount Carmel East has 16 beds. The Registered Nurse (RN) would expect to see the highest acuity neuro patients in the health system while working on this unit. Mount Carmel East is the only comprehensive stroke center in the Mount Carmel system.
The Registered Nurse RN, within the scope of the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, will provide care in an atmosphere sensitive to each person’s physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs. The Registered Nurse RN, collaborates in the spirit of teamwork is accountable for the delivery of patient care utilizing the Nursing Process within the standards, policies, procedures and guidelines of the Organization.
What you will do:
- Provides nursing care, ensures an environment of patient safety, promotes evidence-based practice and quality initiatives and exhibits professionalism in nursing practice within the model of the ANCC Magnet Recognition Program®.
- Assesses and evaluates patient care for an assigned group of patients, utilizing evidence based practice. Collaborates with patient and family to develop and implement a plan of care that includes physical, spiritual and educational components.

Memorial Hospital Belleville is an acute care hospital offering medical and surgical services plus critical and emergency care including Children’s at Memorial for pediatric emergency care. It provides patients a full complement of diagnostic and treatment services as well as heart and vascular care. Memorial, offering medical and surgical services plus critical care, is an accredited Chest Pain Center with PCI by the Society of Cardiovascular Patient Care and is designated as an Acute Stroke Ready Hospital by the Illinois Department of Public Health. In addition, Memorial Belleville recently was accredited by the American College of Radiology as a designated Lung Cancer Screening Center. Since 2008, it has been designated as a Magnet®-recognized organization for nursing excellence by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
Memorial Hospital Shiloh, a 94-bed, all-private suite hospital was recognized with Magnet status in 2018 and provides emergency care, labor & delivery, nursery, medical and surgical services plus critical care.
2 Center is a 29-bed unit providing nursing care for oncology and medical-surgical patients, including administering inpatient chemotherapy.

- Provides consultation in specialty area to all levels of health care providers throughout the hospital, affiliated schools of nursing, and the community.
- Works independently with limited direct supervision using the Nurse Practice Act, Mercy Medical Center – Des Moines policies, nursing standards, and professional judgment.
- Identifies learning needs and develops individualized measures to meet them.
- Attends and successfully completes all generic and unit specific required education within the time frame defined in the structure standard.

PHYSICAL DEMAND REQUIREMENTS:
- Very Heavy work: Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
For heavy work – If a patient is unable to function independently, a mechanical/assistive device and/or additional personnel must be utilized. If an object requires lifting >50 lbs., additional equipment must also be utilized.
VISUAL ACUITY REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to read pertinent printed material and distinguish colors.
- Ability to include inspection during patient assessment.
- Ability to accurately read measurements on patient related equipment—some examples include: thermometers, mechanical gauges, glucometers, IV pumps, and computer monitor displays.

Overview
We are seeking a Data Center MEP Engineer (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) to provide exceptional design and project management services for data center projects. The ideal candidate will lead internal design teams, work in a client-facing project management position, and manage various projects from concept to completion. This role is critical for ensuring that the data center’s infrastructure is designed to meet the demands of its operations while also being energy-efficient and environmentally friendly.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead design, integration, and delivery of MEP systems (HVAC, UPS, generators, cooling, CDUs, BMS, fire protection) across high-density mission-critical environments.
- Manage both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring design scalability, while ensuring safety requirements are met.
- Drive performance optimization, reliability, and compliance with IEC, IEEE, NFPA, and ASHRAE standards.
- Define HVAC technical requirements and coordinate with other teams.
- Develop office design standards for Data Center and Mission Critical sectors.
- Collaborate across disciplines to create integrated technical solutions.
- Coordinate with Energy Modeling teams to optimize energy efficiency and carbon reduction.
- Serve as client-facing representative on behalf of JB&B and Trinity to offer additional support, leading project with a solutions-based mindset.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering required.
- Data Center experience required.
- 5 years of experience in facility design and construction environments.
- Experience in design, construction, and commissioning of data center HVAC systems.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred.
- Strong knowledge of liquid-cooling systems and energy efficiency metrics (PUE/WUE).

This Electrical Engineer position will specialize in data center facility design to be embedded directly with a major end-user client.
Responsibilities:
- Assessing third-party and colocation facilities being considered for acquisition, evaluating their suitability against the client's portfolio requirements.
- Taking ownership of power systems across all project phases, identifying and resolving issues as they arise in collaboration with the relevant client stakeholders.
- Reviewing data center designs with a critical eye on redundancy architecture, availability targets, and potential single points of failure.
- Working closely with operations, planning, and energy strategy teams to push electrical solutions forward on third-party data center projects.
- Conducting technical due diligence and maintaining quality standards in line with client expectations.

Background Required
