This position is responsible to provide leadership to embed a manufacturing excellence and change management mindset. Delivery:

• Provide strategy to build capability of all team members at the site through the Training 4 Excellence program:
• Provide leadership support to your T4E leader in their efforts to develop, facilitate and manage the site’s training strategies aligned to the regional strategy, including providing support to the plant On-the-Job system skill trainers.
• Ensure respective team members are active participants in regional networks in the areas they support, sharing learnings and adopting and applying one best way standards and process.
• Ensure collaboration between T4E and Digital Manufacturing to drive training and usage throughout the site.

Delivery:

• Provide strategic direction to drive Continuous Improvement, using standard tools and processes, across all functions in the site:
• Provide Strategic leadership for site’s CI programs and efforts.
• Reinforce the iOPEX processes and tools to ensure sustainability of the iOPEX program.
• Build capability and leadership throughout the plant to reinforce commitment to standards and centerlining, returning out of standard/red conditions to green and problem solving
• Ensure standardization through CI and Culture of Accountability (CoA) practices
• Provide continuous feedback to leadership team, consistent with OPEX mindsets, Ways of Working and the plants HPWS principles and culture.
• Facilitate, promote, and support Lean cultural development Identify and drive transformation that is inclusive of front-line and support organizations
• Provide education on Lean tools, processes and thinking at your site
• Ensure consistent application of regional framework standards for management systems and processes.
• Drives the strategic planning processes for the site including development, communication, and follow-up of all strategic activity for the site.

Key responsibilities for this position include:

• As a Lactalis laboratory accredited auditor, you will plan, organize and perform lab audits for all internal and external labs used by Lactalis in USA, follow up on all corrective actions noted during auditing, make proposals for acceptance (or not) of new external labs (chemistry and micro), based on audit results and compliance within Lactalis protocols.
• Responsibility of "Lab relay" for the USA (that includes plants laboratories, such as LAG, LUSY, Karoun, and LHD); travel to all laboratories in the US to bring testing methods according to the Lactalis standards. Will organize bi-weekly teams meetings with each lab, following on corrective actions and updates on progress
• Responsibility of the integration of any new labs, as Lactalis pursue new acquisitions, as they will need to be transitioned into Lactalis Lab procedures and protocols.
• Manage the Lactalis Cecalait verification system with all laboratories, helping to troubleshoot when out of compliance
• Contribute to ongoing meetings such as : Monthly Teams Meeting with Groupe Lactalis (France), Quarterly meetings with each division Quality leader about lab progress, Quarterly meetings with each division VP Quality.
• Provide recommendations for new alternative test methods, thus improving lab efficiencies
• Maintain communications with Groupe Lactalis: reports and KPIs to DQG in Laval, attend annual group Lactalis seminars for Laboratory and R&D updates and incorporate them into US Lab practices

This is an exciting opportunity to drive transformational change by standardizing and optimizing core operations across EdgeCore’s portfolio of data centers. The Operational Excellence Manager won’t just be managing processes; they will be a key architect in developing, standardizing, and implementing policies within a robust operational framework, directly enhancing the safety, reliability, and efficiency of our core infrastructure. The ideal candidate will leverage data-driven insights and leadership to unify our maintenance, training, procedural, and incident response protocols, ultimately achieving a proactive operational posture and a culture of continuous improvement.

• Policy development and expansion: identify gaps in existing operational policies and lead the creation of new, standardized policies for ancillary and support functions.
• Assist in the standardization of maintenance planning, tracking, and execution across multiple facilities to ensure efficiency and consistency.
• Contribute to the ongoing design and implementation of the training program to enhance employee proficiency and leadership development.
• Drive adoption of best practices for writing and executing MOPs, SOPs, and EOPs.
• Lead the standardization of incident response, recovery, and reporting, driving root cause analysis.
• Develop and report on key metrics and KPIs to measure program success and influence strategic decisions.
• Champion data-backed solutions to support continuous operational improvement.
• Collaborate with site leads and operations teams to ensure seamless policy implementation.
• Mentor and guide operations staff to foster a culture of excellence.
• Ensure all operational practices meet or exceed industry standards for safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

Your Experience and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Operations Management, Critical Infrastructure, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in data center engineering, design, or operations, with exposure to multi-site facility management.
• Proven experience in policy development, process standardization, and operational improvement, including SOPs, MOPs, EOPs.
• Proven leadership ability, with a record of influencing and educating both technical and non-technical teams.
• Exceptional communication and writing skills, with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to convey complex information in a clear and engaging manner for cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of industry standards, safety, quality, and regulatory compliance relevant to data centers.
• High level of discretion, confidentiality, and sound judgment when managing sensitive matters.
• Strong ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects under pressure while maintaining focus and urgency.
• Strategic thinker with a proactive approach and a strong sense of ownership in decision-making.
• Demonstrated dedication to operational excellence, accountability, and consistent follow-through.
• Flexibility to travel 25-50% as needed, adapting to evolving business requirements.

What We Offer

• This is a full-time salaried position, including equity compensation and a performance-based annual bonus.
• This role requires in-office presence four days per week.
• Job location is Reno, NV.
• Base salary range is $160,000-190,000 depending on experience.
