Scribe tooling locations and reference lines as specified in engineering drawings and specifications.
Diagnose and correct any detected discrepancies in parts and processes.
Check finished parts to ensure they meet quality requirements and specifications using precision measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, trammels, probes).
Use hand and power tools, including air motors, reamers, and cold-work guns, to perform finishing duties on machined parts.
Operate ground-controlled handling equipment to load, unload, and move parts within the shop.
Perform rework as required, including filing, scraping, sanding, grinding, and hand finishing to meet gauge tolerances.
Locate points and holes from established reference lines or index points using prints, templates, and work orders.
Perform visual and functional checks on tools and accessories, making necessary adjustments and ensuring they are in good condition.
Access workload using online computer systems and assign work based on priority or Team Leader direction.
Review Work Order (W/O) to determine work requirements and ensure prior operations are complete.

POSITION SUMMARY

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or equivalent and must be 18 years or older if performing phlebotomy.
- Progression through career ladder II-IV is subject to completion of career ladder requirements.
- Position may require DHS Fingerprinting Certification or the ability to obtain fingerprint certification.
- Dependent on department/location, candidate must possess a valid state driver's license in the state of employment and be eligible for coverage under the company auto insurance policy.
- Phlebotomy/CLA certification as defined by state regulations.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous clinical laboratory experience.
- Successful completion of a laboratory assistant program.
- Basic knowledge of specimen requirements and handling.

JOB SUMMARY This position will participate in the installation of mission critical structured cabling systems in a data center environment.
REQUIREMENTS Associate degree or certification in a technology services/technical discipline, or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of five (5) years of telecom experience (Data Center ISP Construction Environment preferred).
Experiencing leading a team of 10 or more.
Progress reporting and documentation.
Read and create port maps OSHA 10 preferred – must obtain within 90 days of hire.
First Aid / CPR certificate within 90 days of hire.
Fiber Optic Association Certifications preferred.
BICSI Technical Certifications preferred.
Strong customer and client service orientation with effective communication and interpersonal skills, including tact and diplomacy.

Proficiency with MS Excel (copy/paste, accurate data entry) Knowledge in the safe and appropriate use of basic hand tools both for the Telecom and Construction Industry alike.
