5:00 p.m., No Weekends / Federal HolidaysLocation: Milwaukee, WisconsinAbout This OpportunityJR Enterprise (JRE), in partnership with the VA Healthcare System, is seeking a board-certified Pathologist to provide high-quality pathology services at the Clement J.

Zablocki VA Medical Center (CZVAMC) in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.This is a long-term, non-personal services contract offering the opportunity to work in a large, high-acuity, academically affiliated VA medical center.

The Pathologist will deliver comprehensive anatomic pathology care, including surgical pathology, while collaborating with interdisciplinary clinical teams in support of Veteran health outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform anatomic and surgical pathology evaluations with timely reportingReview and interpret specimens in accordance with VA and national pathology standardsParticipate in quality assurance and performance improvement activitiesFulfill all requirements related to accrediting agencies, including CAP, Joint Commission, FDA, and AABBMaintain accurate, timely documentation in the VA electronic medical record (CPRS)Collaborate with surgeons, clinicians, and laboratory staff to optimize patient careSupport training of pathology residents, students, and clinical staff as assignedAdhere to VA, HIPAA, Joint Commission, and patient safety standardsRequired QualificationsDoctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degreeBoard-certified in Anatomic Pathology by the American Board of Pathology (ABPATH)Active, full, and unrestricted medical license in any U.S.
