The base cash compensation range is $90,000 to $140,000 USD. These ranges are provided by market data and are in good faith. FUNCTION:
In an assigned area or cell, under general supervision perform complex polishing and finishing operations of exacting tolerance on production or overhaul and repair parts. Parts are typically at or near final stages of the manufacturing process, with tight tolerance limits, requiring intense period of concentration for extended periods of time.

- Work from drawings, sketches, computer-generated information and verbal instructions to plan the polishing, finishing or re-work operation to be performed.
- Must be capable of following standard finishing applications in order to achieve dimensional integrity and required finish characteristics.

Description
As a member of the Maintenance team this role is responsible for effectively troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues on CNC equipment including aligning equipment and reading schematics. Be familiar with milling and turning equipment. This role is an hourly (non-exempt) classified position.
Pay Range: $45 to $55 per hour
Position Requirements
- Perform mechanical repairs (and rebuild) on all machines
- Perform machine leveling and alignment on all machines
- Pull and replace machine linear guides and ball screws.
- Able to work with complex NC machine up to & including 5 Axis
- Electrical & Electronic: Diagnose, locate and correct malfunctions of electrical & electronic system such as machine controls, recorders, servo/axis drives, servo motors, defective transformers, relays, contactors, fuses, sensors, etc.
- Knowledge of OEM machine controllers (FANUC, Siemens and NIT).
- Working knowledge of tool Probing function for CNC Mill Machines
- Support with scheduling PM, reading report, diagrams and drawings
- Plan, layout, and fabricate replacement parts for major rebuilding of precision machine tools where set up and operation to exacting tolerances is required
- Plan methods required to maintain, test, repair, or modify various types of industrial electronic controls and systems.
- Analyze and coordinate resolutions of technical problems or assist when solving problems including contacts outside own department as required.
- Interface with manufacturers on line tech support when needed
- Ability to work overtime as required by Company
- Recommend improved work methods and procedures, assist in training employs
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Must adhere to all OSHA and EHS policies and all related procedures
- Perform related work as required
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) plus 5+ years of CNC maintenance experience
- Must have solid mechanical background of maintenance experience working with CNC machines, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and programmable logic controls as well as having various electrical mechanical
- Must be able to read schematics and parts drawings, perform routine preventive maintenance on machines and facilities, and be proficient with the use of a multi meter.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Competence in shop math such as working with fractions and decimals.
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must have basic computer skills, MS Office program, and have ability to enter data in various software systems.

Recently, Global Infrastructure Solutions Inc. Responsibilities
- Serve as lead civil engineer for local townships and villages on Long Island in the consultation, review and preparation of site plans, roadway improvements, drainage upgrades, traffic safety, and streetscape efforts.
- As the village or township engineer, lead the preparation of design plans, bid books and specifications, oversight of construction inspections, and final closeout of construction.
- Attend planning board meetings and serve as a specialty civil engineering consultant (attendance at evening meetings once per week on average).
- Respond to RFPs and prepare letter proposals for new contracts and task orders.
- Lead and direct civil engineering design staff as well as field inspectors on ongoing municipal projects.
- Quickly respond and travel to local building departments and departments of public work as LiRo’s representative to support local infrastructure projects.
- Perform plan reviews for quality assurance, constructability, and conformance to Nassau County, Suffolk County, and NYSDOT standards.
- Financial management of projects and resource staffing.
- Attendance at industry functions and business development events
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
- 10+ years’ experience in Civil Engineering
- NY PE required
- Ability to provide guidance to junior level engineers
- Understanding and application of local code requirements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and consistently meet deadlines

This role will be responsible for developing clear, comprehensive Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that guide research participants on how to properly use prototype devices during user research studies. The ideal candidate brings hands on user research experience, has worked directly with participants and hardware prototypes, and is comfortable translating complex device interactions into participant friendly documentation.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and write comprehensive SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) that clearly outline how participants should interact with consumer electronic prototype devices during user research studies
• Partner closely with Study Managers and Research Assistants to ensure SOPs are accurate, thorough, and aligned with study protocols
• Translate technical or complex device workflows into clear, easy to follow participant instructions
• Ensure SOPs support consistent, safe, and effective participant interactions with prototype devices
• Iterate on SOP documentation based on study needs, feedback, and changes to prototype functionality
• Support operational consistency across studies by maintaining high documentation standards

• Prior experience in user research, UX research, or research moderation, working directly with study participants
• Hands on experience supporting studies involving prototype devices or consumer electronics
• Proven experience creating SOPs or participant-facing documentation for user research studies
• Strong collaboration skills and experience working cross functionally with research teams

$35/hr to $40/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
