Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide emergency medical care in an emergency department
• Manage a high-volume ED
• Deliver care across diverse patient groups: 22% pediatric, 5% OBGYN, 9% trauma, 12% geriatric
• Work within a facility featuring isolation beds, trauma bays, GYN rooms, and a pediatric room
• Utilize Meditech and Dragon EMR systems
• Collaborate with advanced practitioners between the main ED and fast track
• Ensure compliance with all clinical protocols and documentation standards

Additional Information

• Must hold a valid Missouri medical license, Emergency Medicine board certification, and DEA registration
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) required
• Experience with high-acuity emergency care preferred
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification is required
