The Senior Manager of Corporate Analysis supports TJX's Senior Leadership with identifying and developing strategic opportunities to drive long term growth. This position requires the person to engage directly with Senior Management across the organization and manage multiple workstreams.

As part of our Corporate Finance team, you will focus on TJX’s corporate strategy and business development initiatives, gaining insight into the evolving retail landscape, and identifying growth opportunities to shape TJX’s future.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team that partners with senior leadership to analyze growth opportunities, including conducting due diligence and assessing potential acquisition / partnership opportunities
  • Help drive the company’s strategic priorities, with an opportunity to impact outcomes through data driven analysis
  • Partner with various operating groups and divisional stakeholders to develop business cases and implementation plans
  • Present results and recommendations across all levels of management, including senior members of Finance, Operations, and executives
  • Evaluate innovative technology opportunities and introduce potential new solutions to TJX stakeholders
  • Benchmark financial performance and strategy of key competitors amidst the continual evolution of the retail market


Potential Projects:

  • New Business Diligence – evaluate both organic expansion and acquisition opportunities through quantitative and qualitative analysis
  • New Business Analysis – evaluate key investment opportunities and P&L trends to drive profitable growth in new businesses
  • Global Steering Committees – participate and drive analysis in global projects across TJX
  • Capital Investment Decision – evaluate corporate projects to determine if they meet return on investment criteria and support the long term growth of the business


What You'll Need:

  • 8+ years of proven experience in Investment banking, Consulting, Valuation, FP&A, or other related fields
  • 2+ years of management experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics or Accounting preferred; MBA a plus
  • Prior experience leading teams in a dynamic, fast paced environment
  • Proven proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including sophisticated Excel and PowerPoint presentation development skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to deliver insights, recommendations, and results concisely and effectively to Executive Level management
  • Ability to work with ambiguity, removing obstacles and maintaining focus in challenging situations to deliver results for self and team
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, work on multiple engagements and manage rapidly changing assignments in a team environment
  • Promotes collaboration within team & cross-functionally and actively finds opportunities for improvements
  • A critical thinker who can quickly evaluate and analyze initiatives and financial projections
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, including high level of attention to detail and ability to drive & lead change
  • Proven track record leading a team in prioritizing tasks and delivering results while handling multiple priorities in a constantly evolving environment
  • Drives developing key business strategies / priorities and clearly articulates the strategic vision with appropriate detail, building commitment to execute against it

This position has a starting salary range of $131,100 to $170,400 per year.

Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.

This position is eligible for an annual incentive as well as long-term incentives.
