The Effector Analog & Power (EAP) Department is seeking an Engineering Lab Lead. This individual will collaborate closely with other Lab Leads, Engineering staff, and Technicians to ensure the Engineering Labs adhere to established company policies and provide hardware development support to program teams.

This position works closely with all levels of leadership in multiple organizations as well as managing lab utilization across various projects. As a member of the team, this position will lead day-to-day operation requirements in Engineering Labs, with a particular focus on safety, compliance, security, improvement, and program support. The Lab Lead owns the quality and performance of the EAP Department’s Engineering Labs.

What You Will Do

• Lab Operating Procedure (LOP) Management; provide direction for lab users on established policies.
• Management, coordination, and implementation of:
• Environmental Health and Safety standards
• Lab Operating Procedures
• Property tracking and calibration
• Personnel lab access lists and training matrices
• Take a proactive role in developing, understanding, and implementing common lab processes, tools, templates, and metrics.
• Oversee audit assessment preparation; Engineering Lab Objective Evaluation and Factory & Lab Assessment reviews; develop corrective action plans and assist in the development of long-range objectives.
• Safeguard classified/proprietary material, hardware, and documentation.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineer and Mathematics and a minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience
• A minimum of two (2) years of experience managing safety, compliance, and processes in an Engineering, or similar, environment.

Mechanical engineers at L3Harris have the opportunity to engage in a wide variety of design activities over a broad range of aircraft (both fixed-wing and rotary-wing). Mechanical engineers are responsible for developing designs ranging from the integration of state-of-the-art airborne systems into special mission aircraft to developing specialized aircraft modifications. Job Summary:

An exciting opportunity exists at Raytheon for a Semiconductor Dry Etch Engineering Lead  to join our III-V compound semiconductor foundry team fabricating gallium nitride and gallium arsenide-based devices within the Advanced Microelectronics Solutions (AMS) Department.  This role requires a broad understanding of microelectronics processing and subject matter expertise in one or more dry etch related techniques including plasma ashing/descum, reactive ion etching (RIE), and inductively coupled etching (ICP).

As a member of the AMS Department, the individual in this role will serve as the dry etch processes lead engineer and collaborate with the various engineering work centers in the III-V semiconductor wafer foundry. The candidate will lead and assist projects in process sustainment, capital allocation, directing process and capital qualifications, improving cycle time, improving product yield, developing new data driven controls, and driving overall wafer movement efficiency.

The chosen candidate is expected to be an innovative and creative thinker capable of probing issues and reaching solutions both independently and in a team environment. The ideal candidate will have working knowledge of various microelectronics processing techniques beyond deposition, including wet and dry etching, lift-off techniques, photolithography, metrology, process characterization, foundry data integrity, and large data analysis methods.

The candidate is expected to work well in large and small, cross-functional teams, understand foundry processes, determine capacity limitations, improve overall equipment effectiveness, identify yield improvement opportunities, gather sponsorship and team resources, and execute on continuous improvement activities. Presence on the foundry floor is essential for quick resolution of technical issues as well as the ability to work with operations, facilities, equipment, and quality teams. Qualifications We Prefer:

• Knowledge of dry etch tools, tool health monitoring, uniformity controls, SECS/GEM experience, and proficient in statistical process control
