Role Opportunity:
We are looking for a Senior Interior Designer to help shape what Kiln looks and feels like as we grow. This role sits at the intersection of space design, workplace design, and experience design. You will help create environments that influence how people work, connect, and move through a space.
You will work closely with our Creative Director as part of a small, in-house design team responsible for bringing new Kiln locations to life. From early concepts through final installation, your work will contribute to thoughtfully designed environments that support productivity, community, and hospitality. Your work will directly influence spaces experienced by thousands of members every day.
The Role:
This is both a technical and creative role for a designer who is equally comfortable producing detailed drawing packages and developing design concepts.
You will contribute to the space design, workplace design, and experience design of new Kiln locations while helping evolve the design language of the brand.
This includes space planning, test-fitting new sites, collaborating with architectural partners, and helping deliver environments that feel cohesive, layered, and intentional.
You will also participate in the development of The Kiln Series — our proprietary furniture and componentry line, which is a key part of Kiln’s long-term design strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Experience and Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in commercial interior design, workplace design, or hospitality environments
- A design sensibility that is layered, eclectic, and experience-driven rather than purely neutral or corporate
- Portfolio required demonstrating thoughtful commercial interior design work (hospitality experience highly valued)
- College graduate with a four-year degree preferred, but not required
- Highly proficient in CAD software, preferably Vectorworks
- Experience with space planning, commercial workplace design, and interior documentation
- Experience with rendering, visualization, and hand sketching for presentations
- Proficiency with Adobe Suite, Google Suite, Slack, and Asana, and comfort learning new SaaS platforms
- Understanding of ADA and commercial office code requirements
- Strong verbal and written communication skills

The Delivery & Service Representative has a responsibility to oversee and support Java House Peel & Pour direct customer service. This position requires a multi-skilled hands-on individual that understands inventory management, customer service, and light plumbing and maintenance with high regards to 5S and organizational adherence.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Driving delivery vehicles, adhering to schedules, unloading products, and ensuring timely, accurate, and safe delivery.
- Servicing existing Java House accounts, placing orders and spotting opportunities to generate sales growth.
- Merchandising products, maintaining clean, organized product displays.
- Monitoring stock and inventory levels, removing outdated inventory and making recommendations for inventory purchases.
- Inspect water dispensing equipment and accessories to ensure optimally efficient operation.
- Primary installation and service of water dispensing equipment
- When required, work with third party installation contractors to ensure standardized installation and repair practices.
- Provide technical support to customers for water systems questions and inquiries, including but not limited to phone, online and onsite.
- Troubleshoot, rebuild, and perform general maintenance on water systems equipment.
- Coordinate any in-depth maintenance that is required for water systems equipment.
- Maintain any onsite parts inventory for rebuild and general maintenance.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Understand basic plumbing requirements focusing on ensuring safe installation, and maintenance of water dispenser equipment.
- Basic computer skills including but not limited to Word, Excel, Outlook.
- Ability to travel, hold a valid driver’s license with a clean motor vehicle report.
- Ability to obtain/maintain a US DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate.
- 1-2 years of previous commercial driving experience (DOT regulated not required)

A day in the life, what you’ll be doing:
- Lead denim product development from concept through commercialization, aligned to seasonal calendars and brand vision. Create detailed hand sketches and digital CADs in Adobe Illustrator, clearly communicating silhouette, proportion, wash, and construction intent. Maintain uncompromising attention to detail to ensure execution preserves design integrity from initial concept through bulk production. Analyze sales performance and consumer insights to identify growth opportunities in fits, washes, and emerging categories.
- Drive seasonal denim direction by developing innovative fits, washes, fabrics, and finishes that balance creative vision with commercial viability. Partner closely with mills and vendors to source and develop new denim fabrics, including sustainable and innovative constructions. Identify and implement trim, hardware, and wash techniques that elevate product differentiation while adhering to cost and margin targets. Oversee lab dips, wash developments, strike-offs, and sample approvals to ensure alignment with aesthetic and quality standards.
- Maintain deep awareness of global denim trends, competitive landscape, and cultural influences impacting youth and contemporary markets. Conduct ongoing market research, store visits, and international sourcing to inform product strategy. Continuously evolve core denim programs while introducing new fits, fabrications, and design details that strengthen brand positioning and relevance
- Develop comprehensive and accurate tech packs that clearly communicate garment construction, wash techniques, fit intent, and trim details. Partner closely with Technical Design throughout fittings to refine silhouette, proportion, and overall aesthetic, ensuring consistency with brand standards. Collaborate with Product Development and sourcing partners to troubleshoot construction and wash challenges and ensure timely sample execution. Maintain all design updates within PLM systems to support efficient cross-functional communication.
- Must keep PDM system updated with any and all design changes within designated time frame.
- In addition to the performance of the job responsibilities, mentioned above, this position might be required to perform supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the supervisor based on the particular requirements of the operation.
What it takes to Join:
- Bachelor’s degree in fashion/design related field and/or equivalent work experience preferred.
- 5-10 years design experience, which includes fabric sourcing, technical design, trim development and color training and practical experience.
- Adobe illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop skills.
- PDM training and experience preferred.
- Timely sense of trends and market direction encompassing color, fabric and silhouette.
- Working knowledge of garment construction, pattern making, textiles and current finishing techniques and processes.
- Computer PC, MAC and CAD experience.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities:
- Partner with Sr. Graphic Designers to execute new campaigns and promotional creative across multiple brand websites, email marketing, digital ads, social media, and other channels
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, HR, Retail, and Wholesale teams to develop creative solutions for a wide range of print and digital assets that meet business objectives
- Learn and apply brand guidelines for multiple brands, helping maintain and evolve each brand’s visual identity
