What is my role?

As a Designer, you are responsible for supporting the Design Director in all aspects of creating and executing monthly retailer presentations and special projects (from concept to final proto samples).


What You'll Do

  • Assist the Design Director in creating styles from concept to completion; direct Associate Designers through line development
  • Monitor development of preproduction samples in partnership with the Product Developer
  • Work with Sales and Director to create direction in silhouette, fabric, and concept for specific retailers/market
  • Ensure tracking of all samples as well as sample rack management/organization
  • Attend and participate in fit sessions
  • Contribute and give direction to team members to create a cohesive product line


What You'll Need

What Will I Do in This Position?


The Senior Software Engineer will work within our existing product development team to deliver rapid improvements to new and existing software systems. The engineer will be an integral part of BaseCamp’s software team. They will work collaboratively with other engineers, QA, UX Design, and a Product Manager to build the company’s proprietary software suite into the preeminent platform in the resale industry. Specific aspects of the role will include:

  • Implement new features and fixes across the entire software stack
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of BaseCamp’s proprietary software suite, which combines a point-of-sale system, a product appraisal application and an inventory management system
  • Own the quality of all software, writing unit and integration tests, while manually testing their own and peers' code changes
  • Improve the reliability, and speed of BaseCamp’s software products

About the Compensation:

The base salary range for this role is determined based on several factors. These include but are not limited to job accountabilities; skill sets; experience and training; certifications; work location; competitive market rates and other business needs. At Galderma, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on a unique combination of factors for each role. A reasonable estimate of the hiring range for this role is $170,000-$210,000.

Responsibilities

The Claims Litigation Director provides the highest level of specialized technical claim handling for the most serious, complex, and highly valued claim for an excess and surplus lines writer. Position requires experience in handling Commercial General Liability as well as Garage and Professional Liability claims with a focus on Legal Malpractice matters. Provides technical advice to associates and other functional areas such as, defense counsel, independents, support, and less-experienced technical staff. An ability to communicate both verbally and in written form in a prompt, courteous and professional manner is essential.

  • Analyzing liability and damage issues in connection with claims made against our insureds and maintaining appropriate documentation.
  • Analyzing insurance coverage issues and drafting coverage positional letters reflecting same.
  • Retaining and supervising outside counsel in the defense of our insureds in an effort to effectively resolve claims.
  • Evaluating full diary of pending matters in connection with the posting and maintaining of accurate reserves.
  • Maintaining and developing relationships with insureds, brokers and outside counsel.
  • Providing support and information to underwriters in connection with their evaluation of risk on particular accounts.
  • Composes and transmits in a regular and timely basis frequent Large Loss Reports and other detailed reporting documents as appropriate.
  • Manages and monitors file caseload through the use of various resources.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree plus and/or applicable insurance claims experience, as noted below.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience handling Commercial General Liability and Professional Liability Claims.
  • Full knowledge of insurance contracts, investigation techniques, legal requirements and insurance regulation.
  • An aptitude for evaluating, analyzing, and interpreting contracts and other complex information.
  • Current Claims Adjuster licenses in one or more states preferred but must be willing to obtain additional state licensures.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must have intermediate knowledge of computer programs in a Windows environment, including Word, Excel and E-mail.

Experience Required for this Role:

  • At least 3 years of experience providing HR support in a DoD or IC customer environment

  • Experience conducting research and analysis in support of a variety of HR projects
