The Configuration and Data Management (CDM) organization is responsible for ensuring our products are under configuration control and delivered on time. The CDM Organization consists of multiple disciplines that support engineering, our program offices, and our customers. Disciplines in the CDM organization participate in the life cycle of our products from conception to deactivation.

The Data Management, Engineering Support and Execution (DEX) department is looking for an individual to perform the role of Senior Data Manager (DM).

This position is in Tucson, AZ (On-site)

The Senior Data Manager identifies all data deliverables made part of a contract and subsequently builds a data track in a Product Data Management (PDM) system. The DM identifies, with help from the Program Office, the appropriate preparers, receives the data within PDM, reviews the data for compliance, solicits and secures appropriate programmatic approval and delivers the information to the customer on time, throughout the lifecycle of the contract.

In addition, DMs are responsible for reviewing sub-tier contractor requirements, building data tracks for supplier submissions, receiving data from various suppliers, and routing for approval and/or incorporation into prime contractor deliverables to the customer as well as securing non-deliverable program work products to be configuration controlled in the PDM system and other related tasking.

• Reading contracts for understanding of the deliverables

• Working in a PDM system to capture, manage, and track data deliverables and/or receivables.

• Coordinating with cross-functional teams to obtain requested data.

• Proofreading data for compliance to the requirement(s)

• Managing the data deliverable schedule and providing the data to the customer on-time

• Learning and understanding contractually required markings applied to data.

• Running forecast reports and providing them to the appropriate stakeholders

• Providing metrics related to on-time deliveries and outstanding dispositions upon request.

• Reviewing and approving sub-tier supplier statements of work for data requirements

• Supporting program meetings and providing training to program personnel and customers and/or suppliers

• Handling and protection of Company Intellectual Property (IP) as well as U.S. government IP and classified information

Qualifications you must have

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of relevant professional experience or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience is required.

• Experience in data management and/or equivalent professional experience

• Experience in a customer support/service role 

• Able to obtain and maintain a DoD, Government Security Clearance

The Naval Power Engineering Execution Team is seeking a highly motivated Integrated Product Team Lead for the Evolved Sea Sparrow Missile (ESSM) portfolio within the Shipboard Missiles Sub-Strategic Business Unit (SSBU).

This position requires a strong leader to also serve as Chief Product Owner (CPO) for the Systems Integration & Test (SI&T) Agile Release Train (ART) spanning both the Development and Production Design Value Streams (DVSs). The CPO is setting up the vision and plan for the team, responsible for removing barriers, and defining solutions that support the program and deliverables.

In addition, it is expected this leader will work across all Raytheon functional organizations to staff the IPT and ensure the timely start-up and delivery of products in accordance with the supported contract(s).

What You Will Do

• Serve as ESSM’s primary interface to the NATO Sea Sparrow Project Office (NSPO) Test & Evaluation community.

• Work across multiple design value streams spanning development, production and sustainment by serving customer needs and delivering capabilities in support of various contracts. Negotiate and balance priorities among multiple contracted efforts and customers while ensuring on-time delivery and execution.

• Primary responsible for schedule and cost execution of multiple CLINs within Design Agent contract. This includes direct Cost Account Management (CAM) responsibilities as well as delegation of CAM responsibilities to members within team.

• Support Agile ceremonies such as Increment Planning, Sprint Planning, Sprint Retrospectives and work closely with Agile Release Train Engineer (RTE) to ensure the team’s backlog is prioritized, well defined with acceptance criteria, and executable to achieve the program goals and contractual deliveries.

• Own and define team’s vision and execution strategy to achieve program goals and contractual deliveries while managing dependencies across functional organizations to ensure on-time contractual deliveries.

• Develop executable build schedules for various integration and test assets and production units, ensuring and facilitating cross-functional coordination, collaboration and communication to support on-time deliveries.

• Remove barriers and ensure the team is properly staffed and resourced to support the program goals and contractual deliveries.

• Mentor and coach junior engineers within the team and foster a healthy team environment.

• Support weekly ESSM Block 1 and 2 Flight Test Working Group (FTWG) with NSPO, PHD, Corona and other test support teams. Align customer domestic and international flight test schedules and needs with Raytheon’s expected support.

• Support NSPO Telemetry Working Group (TMWG) as required.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience. 

• Experience working with Manufacturing and Production Systems and Processes.

• PM Level 6 certification or able to obtain PM Level 6 certification within 1 year,

• Experience in programs utilizing Agile Framework, and understanding of and experience working in an Agile SI&T environment.

• Prior IPTL, or Cross Product Team Lead (CPTL) experience.

• Must be willing to travel to support Technical Interchange Meetings (TIMs) and other customer/program meetings as necessary.

What You Will Do

• Update and maintain all software and firmware system and subsystem level requirements specifications.

• SE technical contributor for verification and validation efforts, ensuring all requirements are being assessed during Formal Qualification Testing

• Work closely with the Systems, Software, and Test teams and IPTs on a variety of program technical tasks

• Participate in technical conversations with the customer

• Become a knowledgeable and ‘go-to’ Systems Engineer for the program

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of five (5) years of prior relevant experience

• Experience with at least one of the following: systems software, systems firmware, systems hardware, systems requirements, systems integration, and/or systems test.

• Experience in test planning, verification of system requirements and/or formal qualification

The salary range for this role is 60,000 USD - 114,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. The Tactical Radars and Effectors department within Raytheon Hardware Engineering supports the development, production, and deployment of multiple defense products including radars, missiles, command and control systems, and naval electronics.  The products support US Government and international customers.

This position will support the Land & Air Defense Systems missile and launcher product lines based in Tucson, AZ, and may require domestic and international travel to suppliers, Raytheon facilities, and customer sites.  This position will be an onsite role.

What You Will Do

• Support the factory and suppliers with product development, obsolescence, troubleshooting, domestically and internationally.

• Interface with other engineering disciplines, non-technical disciplines, and suppliers to develop design solutions and resolve technical challenges.

• Work with limited supervision and meet commitments for assigned schedule, financial, and technical goals.

• Support and participate in design peer reviews, resolving action items, and conduct trade studies to make sound technical decisions.

• Working knowledge of First Article Inspection process (FAI), work along side Quality engineers in support of that in addition to Raytheon Source Inspection (RSI).

• Apply knowledge and experience in technical problem solving and hardware development in a fast paced, team environment.

• Mentor and guide a small team of engineers within program.

• Utilize Raytheon hardware tools and processes.

Qualifications You Must Have  

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.
• Experience with design, development, and production of mechanical equipment and/or hardware, preferably for use in Military environments.
• Experience in the development, creation, release, and updates of mechanical technical data packages.
• Experience in the review and interpretation of technical documentation in a production environment.
• Experience with ANSI/ASME Y14.5 GD&T (Geometric Dimension and Tolerances)

Qualifications We Prefer 

• Advanced degree in mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering, or hardware system design.
• Experience with production environment for military products.
• Experience working in a factory supporting full-rate production of missile components and assemblies.
• Working knowledge of Military and Commercial Specifications.
• Demonstrated team player, self-driven leader with excellent collaboration skills.
• Experience with CREO (Pro/E) or similar 3D solid modeling software.
• Experience with PTC Windchill Product Data Management or equivalent configuration/data management software.
• Must possess strong technical writing and oral communication skills.
• Must b e able to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
