Role Description


This is a full-time patent litigation role based in New York, NY, with a hybrid work model that allows for some work from home flexibility. The Patent Litigator will join a litigation team and handle day-to-day legal tasks including drafting and responding to motions, preparing for and attending court proceedings, conducting depositions, and representing clients during trials. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of patent law and the ability to collaborate with a dedicated legal team to deliver the best outcomes for clients.


Qualifications


  • Strong expertise in patent litigation
  • Degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or similar fields are preferred.
  • Ideal candidates will have four (4) to eight (8) years of experience litigating patent disputes, including taking depositions, arguing Markman, and IPR experience preferred. 
  • Experience with ITC a plus.
  • Experience in preparing and responding to legal Motions effectively
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Bar admission in New York State is required
  • JD degree from an accredited law school
