Unit Description:

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the CVMC Intensive Care Unit (ICU) as part of our Critical Care Team is responsible for direct and indirect professional nursing care to patients including:

Unit Description:

At the administrative direction of the Radiation Oncology Operations Supervisor, and the clinical direction of the Radiation Oncologist, the Radiation Oncology Registered Nurse works with the Oncologist and other Radiation Oncology staff to assess and respond to the specialized nursing needs of radiation therapy patients.  

EDUCATION:

Unit Description: The Women and Children’s Unit at CVMC is proud to have the mission of providing ‘collaborative, high-quality, family-centered care’. You would be joining our growing multidisciplinary team of board certified OBGYN’s, Certified Nurse Midwives, experienced labor and delivery nurses, lactation consultants and perinatal technicians. As a CT Technologist, you would operate CT equipment, to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs and tissue used to diagnose medical conditions. You will prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and positioning the patient to capture optimal images requested by the physician.

· You will accurately interpret a physician’s scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, prepare and operate the CT scan equipment.

· Assist the radiologist in administering medication and contrast agents, performing biopsies and all types of care to patients.

· Prepare examination rooms for CT scan and/or invasive procedures.

· Monitor inventory of supplies during room rotation and maintain room cleanliness.

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (ARRT-CT) Computed Tomography must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date

Unit Description: As an Emergency Department Nurse at CVMC, you will be part of a multi-disciplinary team in our busy, community hospital. Our Emergency Department is a 24-bed unit that provides care for an average of 80 patients per day. Our RNs actively participate in the treatment of patients of all ages and with any kind of medical or psychiatric diagnosis.

Our Emergency Room Nurses are trained in ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ESI, and AVADE. We highly encourage our staff to become certified in Emergency Nursing (CEN) and Pediatric Emergency Nursing (CPEN). Our nurses also have the opportunity to participate in our Shared Governance Councils and to advance their careers through our Clinical Advancement program. This shift is scheduled for 11am - 11pm.

On-call: Not required.

Unit Description: Our Cardiac Rehab department is open from 6:45 to noon on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays for exercise and charting. ICU or PACU experience preferred. ACLS required. We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nurse to join our Cardiac Rehab team.
