Entry-Level Litigation Associate Attorney

SeiferFlatow, PLLC is a highly reviewed Charlotte litigation firm looking for an entry-level associate who wants to try cases, not just push paper.

You will carry your own caseload, take depositions, argue motions, and negotiate settlements, working alongside trial lawyers who have tried over 100 cases and argued in courts across the country. The firm handles personal injury, workers’ compensation, business disputes, and general litigation. You will get exposure across practice areas as your skills develop.

This is not a doc-review job. You will have direct client contact from day one, courtroom experience early in your career, and partners who invest in your development.

Responsibilities

Manage cases from intake through resolution, including investigation, discovery, and trial preparation. Communicate directly with clients. Draft and file pleadings, motions, and discovery. Conduct legal research and prepare demand packages. Negotiate with insurance carriers and opposing counsel. Represent clients at depositions, mediations, hearings, and in court. Collaborate with partners and paralegals on case strategy.

Qualifications

J.D. from an accredited law school. Licensed in North Carolina or sitting for the July 2026 bar exam (admission expected by fall 2026). Good standing with the North Carolina State Bar. South Carolina licensure is a plus. Strong legal research and writing skills. Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple matters. Reliable transportation for local court appearances. A candidate who wants to be in the courtroom, not behind a desk.
