Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot complex issues involving diagnostic, therapeutic, and patient monitoring equipment

• Ensure all equipment maintenance activities meet hospital regulatory requirements and accreditation standards including Joint Commission and FDA guidelines

• Develop and manage equipment lifecycle planning, including replacement strategy and capital equipment upgrades

• Coordinate with clinical departments to ensure equipment availability and minimize disruption to patient care

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field

5+ years of biomedical equipment experience within a hospital or healthcare system

2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience managing biomedical technicians or engineers

• Strong expertise in medical device troubleshooting, maintenance, and preventive service programs

• Experience supporting equipment such as patient monitors, imaging systems, infusion pumps, anesthesia machines, ventilators, and diagnostic equipment

• Knowledge of Joint Commission standards, FDA regulations, and healthcare compliance requirements

The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of California, Berkeley is generating a new applicant pool of qualified temporary instructors and invites applications for a lecturer position to teach courses in our department in the areas of Energy, Civil Infrastructure and Climate; Constructions Systems; Environmental Engineering; GeoSystems Engineering; Structural Engineering, Mechanics and Materials; Systems (Civil Systems); and Transportation Engineering.



This pool is being generated in case of need to accommodate upcoming course needs and new applicants. We plan to hire for the Spring semester, Summer Sessions , and the Fall semester, if the need arises. Candidates under consideration will be contacted by our department. The PLM Integration and Test Lead designs, develops the overall integration and testing scheme/approach for the new PLM development and then manages the overall integration and testing activates of the PLM team to ensure PLM capabilities function as an element and within the integrated L3Harris system with high quality and reliability for sustained business success.

Essential Functions: Leads the design and development of the Integration and test plan with the PLM Leads Develops and manages overall Test and Integration Plan and leads implementation and tracking of the plan for the PLM DT Drives a Design for Test and Integration mindset in the overall PLM Team Ensures each capability is functionally validated and performance achieved in the integrated system for successful business execution Leads team in the development of efficient and robust test methodologies Organizes use cases and scenarios to test Grades and ranks test and integration activities to enable prioritization based on risk, criticality, etc Leads teams in conducting independent Failure Modes Effects Analysis of IT Vendor designs to identify high risk, high probability modes of failure, prioritize importance and mitigation activities Leads interface between L3Harris functional I&T team execution and IT/contractor developing and setting reporting workflow and expectations for individual capability working groups Manages the troubleshooting interface with IT and vendors Track and monitors and reports functional progress of test and integration Manages, tracks and reports functional integration and test activities status Organizes program and business specific I&T activities Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree (in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field) and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience.

Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience.

In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience Experience in large-scale PLM implementation, development, test or migration projects.

Experience with mechanical and electrical engineering design processes, configuration management principles, and product data management.

Experience with a major PLM platform and its integration with major MCAD and ECAD tools.
