Laboratory Operations Specialist

The Senior Specialist, Laboratory Operations, coordinates and supports multiple laboratories within one or more departments. This could include ownership/responsibilities over any associated warehouse areas, performing glassware washing and media/buffer prep.
- Experienced and works independently to manage day-to-day operations and can perform troubleshooting and problem solving. Customer base is within the labs supported. Highly customer service oriented and has a track record of anticipating the needs of all customers, including bench scientists
- Responsible for cross-functional execution of processes such as equipment installation working with engineering, facilities, suppliers and procurement. Oversees inventory management such as purchasing, maintaining, storing, and allocating lab equipment and supplies.
- Can provide direction to peers, if needed. Completes assignments in a timely fashion and helps manager with assignments or projects when needed.
- Ability to work on issues with a complex and diverse scope in a matrixed organization.
- Can perform troubleshooting and basic problem-solving. Can effectively reach a solution for most problems. Proposes process improvements.

About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Manufacturing Associate to support large-scale bioprocess operations in a cGMP-regulated manufacturing environment. This role plays an important part in ensuring the consistent production of high-quality biologic therapeutics used to treat rare diseases.
The Manufacturing Associate will assist with production activities including buffer and media preparation, equipment operation, and supporting cell culture and purification processes. This position is ideal for candidates who enjoy hands-on laboratory work, following structured procedures, and contributing to a collaborative production team.
Key Responsibilities
Operate large-scale equipment supporting cell culture and purification operations
Prepare buffer and media solutions for manufacturing batches
Support biopharmaceutical production processes including tangential flow filtration, chromatography, and formulation
Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and document work in accordance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and regulatory guidelines
Identify, troubleshoot, and escalate process issues when necessary
Assist with equipment setup, cleaning, and maintenance activities
Support continuous improvement initiatives and process updates within the manufacturing team
Education and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific field
OR
Associate's degree or biotechnology certificate with 2+ years of experience in biotech manufacturing or another regulated industry
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in a GMP or regulated laboratory/manufacturing environment
Familiarity with bioprocess techniques such as chromatography, filtration, or buffer preparation
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed procedures
Comfort working in a team-based, fast-paced manufacturing environment

Tweaking Cat Studios is an independent game studio developing our first title. The project is fully funded and currently in the prototype phase, with a planned launch in 2028. We are building a small, highly collaborative team focused on crafting a distinctive and cohesive player experience.
We are looking for an experienced Art Director to define, guide, and protect the artistic vision of the game from early prototype through production and launch.
We work out of an office in Sausalito and the team is almost entirely face-to-face.
Role Overview
The Art Director partners closely with Game Design and Engineering to establish and maintain the visual identity of the game. This role is responsible for defining the artistic direction, guiding production art pipelines, and ensuring visual consistency across all aspects of the game.
This is a hands-on leadership role suited for someone comfortable working in a small studio environment where strategic direction and practical execution often go hand-in-hand.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with Game Design to craft the artistic vision of the game
- Define and maintain the visual style, tone, and artistic direction
- Create and maintain art bibles, style guides, and visual reference materials
- Direct internal and external artists to ensure consistency and quality
- Review and provide feedback on all art assets to maintain the artistic vision
- Collaborate with engineering to ensure art integrates effectively into the Unity pipeline

About the Role
As a Global Procurement & Trade Manager, you will own supplier procurement, purchase execution, and manage international trade operations across Pegasus’s global supply chain. This role is responsible for issuing purchase orders, coordinating inbound and outbound logistics, and facilitating import/export customs compliance for shipments into the United States and other international markets. You will work closely with Pegasus manufacturing and sourcing, our logistics partners, finance, planning/forecasting, and the sales operations to ensure material availability, optimize cost control, and ensure compliant global movement of goods. The Global Procurement & Trade Manager will report directly to the Head of Manufacturing & Supply Chain and will support the Director of Business Intelligence.
Responsibilities
- Procurement & Supplier Management
- Own end-to-end procurement execution with domestic and international suppliers.
- Plan, issue and manage purchase orders aligned to approved demand plan.
- Support domestic and international strategic supplier selection.
- Monitor and track supply chain pricing, sourcing lead times, MOQs and contractual sourcing terms, indexed with prevailing material, labor costs, logistics, FOREX and import duties.
- Work closely with Manufacturing & Sourcing to build strong supply chain partnerships, ensuring timely capacity development, consistent product quality, risk mitigation, and best value landed COGs.
- Work closely with Quality to execute timely supply chain audits.
- Import / Export & Trade Compliance
- Own all import and export operations for Pegasus globally.
- Work closely with Pegasus customs brokers to manage customs clearance for imports into the United States and other countries.
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, tariffs, duties, and documentation requirements.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and logistics providers.
- Maintain accurate HTS codes, country of origin data, and trade documentation.
- Logistics & Inventory Execution
- Oversee inbound and outbound international logistics execution.
- Coordinate shipment timing with suppliers, warehouses, and 3PL partners.
- Manage quarterly inventory counts and reconciliation at Pegasus’ headquarter warehouse and multiple 3PLs.
- Ensure accurate inventory receipts and ERP transactions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with Pegasus demand planning and forecasting.
- Collaborate with operations, finance, and leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Operations, Engineering, or equivalent Supply Chain Professional certification.
- 10+ years of working experience.
- 5+ years working in procurement, global trade, and supply chain operations.
Required Skills
- Strong working proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle Netsuite.
- Advanced Excel and data analysis experience.
- Global procurement and supply chain management experience.
- Experience in planning and procurement for in-house assembly and packout.
- Possesses strong analytical and data driven decision-making skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly both written and verbally.
Preferred Skills
- Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning experience highly desired.
- Hardware or durable goods manufacturing experience.
- Experience in high growth or scaling companies.
- Fluency in Mandarin and Spanish.
Pay range and compensation package
Work location – While the position can largely be remote, it is expected that the Global Procurement & Trade Manager will be onsite a few days each month for team collaboration and to coordinate inventory count validation. Travel – The position will require periodic travel to interface with supply chain partners and to attend trade shows.
