About the role
We are seeking a passionate and technically skilled Dairy Scientist to join our R&D team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in dairy science, food technology, microbiology or related fields to develop, optimize, and support innovative dairy products and solutions. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—including product development, process engineering, and commercial teams—to deliver high-quality, market-leading dairy flavors.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and optimize flavor formulations for a variety of dairy products (e.g., yogurt, cheese, beverages, desserts) through the use of cultures, enzymes, materials and processes.
- Lead application trials and pilot plant runs to validate new concepts and processes.
- Collaborate with customers and internal teams to understand requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
- Troubleshoot formulation and processing challenges, providing technical support to both internal stakeholders and customers.
- Stay current with industry trends, new ingredients, and processing technologies relevant to dairy applications.
- Document and communicate findings, protocols, and recommendations clearly and effectively.
- Support commercialization efforts by scaling up successful prototypes and assisting with plant trials.
- Ensure all work complies with food safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Qualifications and skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Science, Dairy Science, Chemical Engineering, Microbiology or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in dairy product development or applications (internships and co-ops considered).
- Strong knowledge of dairy ingredients, processing technologies, and product functionality.
- Hands-on experience with pilot plant equipment and laboratory analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities.
- Willingness to travel as needed (up to 20%)}
- Experience working directly with customers or in a B2B environment.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements for dairy products.
The typical hiring range for this role is $91,311 to $149,080 annually and is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, location, etc. In addition to your pay, Kerry offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and retirement contribution (all benefits and incentives are subject to eligibility requirements).

Your New Role:
The Production Manager is responsible for directing, coordinating, and optimizing daily manufacturing operations through the leadership of Production Supervisors. This role serves as the primary liaison between the VP of Manufacturing and the Production Supervisors, ensuring that strategic goals, production plans, and performance expectations are effectively communicated, executed, and sustained on the production floor. The Production Manager translates high-level manufacturing strategy into actionable plans while elevating operational performance, safety, quality, and employee engagement.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide direct leadership, coaching, and accountability for Production Supervisors to ensure consistent execution of production plans.
- Act as the communication bridge between the VP of Manufacturing and Production Supervisors, cascading priorities, initiatives, and expectations while elevating operational feedback and challenges.
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily production schedules to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to productivity, efficiency, scrap, downtime, labor utilization, and safety; drive corrective actions as needed.
- Collaborate with the VP of Manufacturing on capacity planning, staffing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Partner with Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, and Supply Chain to resolve production issues and support continuous improvement efforts.
- Lead problem-solving activities using lean manufacturing and root cause analysis tools.
- Support talent development by identifying training needs, mentoring supervisors, and assisting with performance management.
- Promote a positive, accountable, and team-oriented culture across all shifts.
- Responsible for understanding the food safety hazards of their job and following the employee GMPs and other procedures to ensure food safety
- Other duties as assigned.
Your hours:
Monday-Friday: 8:00am – 5:00pm - must have flexibility to provide support to a 24/7 facility.
What you need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
- 5+ years of manufacturing leadership experience, including direct supervision of supervisors.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production planning, and performance metrics.
- Proven ability to lead through others and align floor-level execution with organizational strategy.
- Excellent communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, or similar) preferred.

The role of an R&D Senior Scientist – Taste Coffee is based in KERRY Global Technology & Innovation Centre in Beloit, Wisconsin, USA and reporting to the RD&A Director. The candidate must be prepared to support scale up process, process optimization and different activities at different sites/facilities occasionally.
The successful candidate should demonstrate with moderate “hands on” experience working with roasting, extraction and coffee drying technologies (development, upscaling, downscaling).
She/He should have preliminary experiences and demonstrate technical leadership capabilities in the field of Food Science with Sensory, Analytical, and Processing knowledge.
The successful candidate will be leading strategic projects in close collaboration with other Kerry staff from different End Use Markets.

The pay range for this position is $75,602 - $123,432 in Annual Salary. Kerry typically does not hire an individual at the top or near the top of the range, as we are a pay-for-performance company, and this range is set to continue to reward performance annually while in role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate within the above range may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience, and internal equity. This role develops 3D solid models, detailed drawings, and technical specifications for the manufacture of cargo tank motor vehicles serving the bulk liquid transportation industry.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Duties and Responsibilities Applies engineering methods to develop products while ensuring quality, regulatory, and profitability requirements Assists and troubleshoots issues and/or questions with production staff related to fabrication of components and assemblies Calculates material usage for all components and parts for assemblies Collaborates with designers on improvements to product lines Completes updates or changes to released engineering documents via Engineering Change Notice (ECN) procedures Computes mathematical formulas to develop and design detailed specifications for components and/or machinery using computer-assisted equipment Confers with senior engineering to review schematics and address questions related to system installation Coordinates and consults with cross-functional teams to design, layout, detail components and systems, and resolve design issues Creates and enters part numbers, bills of material, and shop floor Requirements Level One Associate’s degree in mechanical design or a related field High proficiency with Autodesk products (AutoCAD Mechanical, Inventor, Vault) Design experience with sheet metal, weldments, and large assemblies Experience working with ERP systems Level Two Meets Level One requirements 2–3 years of design experience with trailer or vehicle systems Knowledge of applicable regulations and standards (49 CFR §178 & §571, FDA, ASME BPVC Section VIII-1, 3-A, ASTM) Strong understanding of manufacturing processes Ability to perform and interpret engineering calculations Level Three Meets Level Two requirements Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical design or a related field 4+ years of design experience with trailer or vehicle systems Develops design validations compliant with all applicable regulations and standards Develops calculations and processes ensuring regulatory compliance Acts as a design-certifying engineer Level Four Meets Level Three requirements Holds a Professional Engineer (PE) license valid in Wisconsin Actively interprets regulatory requirements Contributes to industry standards organizations such as TTMA and NTTC Maintains registration with Transport Canada for design and manufacture of B620 cargo tanks Interpersonal, Leadership, and Technical Skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, design standards, and regulations Ability to safely operate manual and power tools Ability to work in environments that may include
