SUMMARY

We are seeking a Senior Food Scientist with 5 years of industry experience to contribute to the development, testing, and optimization of innovative confectionery products. This role combines hands-on work with applied research and development (R&D), offering the opportunity to take ownership of projects and drive product innovation from concept to commercialization. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Product Development & Innovation

• Lead the formulation and development of new food products, from concept through commercialization.
• Independently conduct ingredient research, prototyping, and iterative product improvements.
• Apply sensory and consumer insights to refine product performance and quality.

Laboratory Testing & Analysis

• Design and execute experiments to evaluate product stability, shelf life, and sensory attributes.
• Conduct physical, chemical, and sensory analyses with minimal supervision.
• Interpret and report test results, providing recommendations for technical improvements.

Research & Documentation

• Stay current with emerging food technologies, ingredients, and regulatory developments.
• Prepare and maintain accurate technical documentation, reports, and specifications.

Collaboration & Project Leadership

• Partner with Quality, Production, and Marketing to ensure successful scale-up and launch of products.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in scaling formulations from lab to production.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

We’re seeking a highly analytical, detail-oriented Demand Planning and Forecasting Analyst to support our supply chain network. In this role, you will lead forecasting and inventory planning initiatives using SO99+ and other advanced planning tools. You will help ensure accurate demand projections, optimize inventory, manage part lifecycles, and guide the business with actionable insights. What You’ll Do

• Process and audit multi-state payroll (weekly/biweekly/semi-monthly) with 100% accuracy and on-time delivery.
• Administer payroll in ADP platforms (e.g., Workforce Now, Vantage), including employee records, earnings, deductions, and taxes.
• Review and validate timesheets/timekeeping data; resolve discrepancies.
• Complete payroll adjustments including retro pay, bonuses, commissions, garnishments, terminations, and LOA/FMLA pay.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local wage and tax regulations.
• Reconcile payroll reports and general ledger entries; coordinate with Finance on journal entries and month-end close.
• Support payroll tax activities including ADP tax filings, notices, W‑2s, and year-end processes.
• Act as an escalation point for payroll questions and issue resolution.
• Assist with audits, documentation, payroll SOP maintenance, and data integrity initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance ADP system usage.
• Partner closely with HR on onboarding, offboarding, and benefits deductions.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and perform other duties as assigned.

Coordinate manufacturing needs with engineering solutions. Develop guidelines for manufacturing for new materials and find improvements in machine design and material handling for increased profitability of current materials.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Identify potential opportunities for improvement in methods of extrusion
