Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) is seeking an Experienced (Level 3) or Senior (Level 4 or Level 5) Systems Engineering Support Analyst to support the BDS Mission Assurance, System Safety and Safety Management Systems (SMS) organizations.

This position is open to multiple locations.

Mission Assurance & System Safety Engineers are integral to the entire product lifecycle to identify, analyze, mitigate and verify the safety hazard risk of our Boeing products.

Assist with the development of best practices for Mission Assurance and Safety Engineers.

Coordinate key milestones across BDS programs to ensure the timely execution of mission assurance F/TMARRs and independent reviews.

Coordinate with Mission Assurance Division leaders to gain readiness status of customer commitments across 35 major BDS programs.

Researches, analyzes, and compiles basic technical data for company products and system-level concepts in the projected operational environments to optimize effectiveness over the program life-cycle.

Coordinate with Enterprise stakeholders on Enterprise Safety and Mission Assurance initiatives.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Modify and improve critical components and program PLC for draw down process upgrades.
• Collaborate with the manifold team to assist with design, programming, and fabrication of CNC-milled components for diffusion bonding.
• Study the existing products to gain an understanding of how Arcmed supports industry.
• Work with internal stakeholders to determine areas of improvement.
• Merge the functional intent of the product with various upgrades to create a project proposal.
• Drive project proposal to a Go/No-Go decision.
• Deliver final presentation to Board of Directors outlining project efforts, results, and lessons learned.

As a Sr. Production and Engineering Technician at Reliable Robotics, you will be a part of the Production organization. This is a small but growing team of highly motivated people passionate about delivering quality products and services on time, with unquestionable value. You'll play a critical role in the build, operation, integration, test, diagnostics, inspection, and maintenance of highly reliable systems, including electro-mechanical assemblies, wiring harnesses, components, and subassemblies. You'll also help with the installation of those systems onto aircraft. Your work will support various product development phases such as prototype, research and development, aircraft certification, and recurring production. This is a fantastic opportunity to serve as the last line of defense for ensuring that our safety-critical systems are reliable and produced to the intended engineering requirements.

Responsibilities

• Build, operate, integrate, test, diagnose, inspect, and maintain highly reliable systems, including avionics and electromechanical assemblies, wire harnesses, and circuit card assemblies

• Read, interpret, and work from drawings, controlled documentation, and processes such as drawings, layouts, assembly procedures/work instructions, schematics, engineering drawings, and master parts lists

• Develop and improve manufacturing and installation instructions

• Assure product and process quality by testing finished-product and process capabilities

• Resolve product non-conformances and collaborate with the quality team to implement corrective actions

• Record work performed in a clear, precise, and complete manner

• Assist with the development of production and improvement processes

Basic Success Criteria

• 7+ years of professional experience building and testing electromechanical assemblies, fabrication, integration, or mechanical assembly experience

• 4+ years of hands-on experience reviewing technical designs and working from drawings, schematics, layouts, assembly/procedures, master parts lists, and other controlled documentation

• Ability to proficiently use a PC/Mac, Google Suite, manufacturing execution systems, JIRA, or equivalent tools

• Ability to lift 25-pound boxes to a height of 3-4 feet, with or without reasonable accommodation

Preferred Criteria

• IPC and/or J-STD certification

• Experience working in an electro-mechanical manufacturing company, a precision manufacturing company, or a high-volume manufacturing company
