About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Mine Foreman to oversee daily mining operations and lead miners in a safe, productive, and efficient manner. This role is hands-on and leadership-driven. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter and responsible for meeting production targets while maintaining safety and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervising quarry/mine employees and plant operations in a sand, limestone, clay, and coal surface mine and milling.

• Enforce safety and regulatory requirements

• Assist and organize the work of employees in the daily inspection and maintenance of the plant to ensure safe, reliable, and compliant operations to maximize production and minimize interruptions

• Plan the daily operation scheduling of plant production to ensure optimal utilization of plant and equipment, personnel and inventory requirements, and work procedures in regard to mining, processing, stockpiling, loading and shipping

• Ensure the mine activities are achieved to planned specifications

• Assist upper management to control costs to meet budgets and reduce costs to achieve savings

• Conduct pre-shift meetings and safety talks

• Effectively manage direct reports by setting clear performance objectives providing regular feedback, and providing development through training

• Work with maintenance, mining, and engineering to ensure daily, weekly, and monthly plans are aligned

• Train, mentor and review staff

• Participate in health and safety meetings and risk reviews as required

• Perform all other duties assigned by management

Preferred Candidate will have:

• Bachelor's degree in mining or civil engineering or equivalent time spent in related field

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a surface mine operation or related field

• Mining Foreman's certification or ability to obtain

• Blasting training and or be certified blaster

• Significant heavy equipment maintenance experience

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals, ability to write routine reports and correspondence

• Have strong communication and decision-making ability

• Ability to regularly stand and/or walk for long periods of time including on rough terrain and able to bend, stoop. climb, and reach

• Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds

• Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments

This role is responsible for developing, optimizing, and supporting CNC programs from print through production, with hands-on involvement in setups, prove-outs, and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate has experience programming and supporting heavy machining operations using TOSNUC and FANUC controls, and works comfortably on the shop floor with machinists, engineering, and quality.

• Program CNC machines using Mastercam (2D and 3D toolpaths)

Responsibilities

Die Fabrication:

• Fabricate, assemble, and modify stamping dies, jigs, and fixtures used in the production process. Ensure designs meet part specifications and are cost-effective to produce.

Die Maintenance & Repair:

• Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on existing dies and tools. Ensure that dies remain in excellent working condition to minimize downtime during production.

Tool Setup & Adjustment:

• Set up tools and dies for production runs, making precise adjustments to ensure parts meet dimensional and quality requirements.

Quality Control:

• Perform thorough checks and inspections on tools, dies, and stamped parts to ensure they adhere to quality standards and meet customer specifications.

Preventive Maintenance:

Qualifications

Education and Training:

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a formal apprenticeship program in tool and die making or a related field preferred.
• Journeyman certification in Tool and Die Making or equivalent industry experience preferred.

Experience:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Tool and Die Maker, preferably in a stamping or manufacturing environment.
• Strong background in die fabrication, repair, and maintenance for metalworking applications.
• Familiarity with various types of dies (progressive, compound, transfer) and materials used in stamping operations.

Skills and Abilities:

• Proficiency with precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, gauges, etc.).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
• Advanced knowledge of machining techniques, welding, and grinding.

The Opportunity

The Legal & Environmental Development Associate expands the Land Bank's internal legal capacity while embedding legal judgment in complex real estate, redevelopment, and environmental remediation projects. Reporting to the in-house Corporate Counsel, this role provides hands-on exposure to real estate transactions, public funding compliance, and brownfield remediation strategy without the billable hour model of private practice. The position offers the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership and develop practical legal and project experience in redevelopment and environmental work.

The ideal candidate is a law school graduate or early-career attorney motivated by public interest work, energized by complex problem-solving, and eager to apply legal analysis within redevelopment and environmental projects that directly impact neighborhoods.

The Position - Essential Responsibilities and Functions

• Provide first-line legal support for real estate, redevelopment, and environmental projects under the direction of Corporate Counsel.
• Draft and review routine contracts and legal documents, including professional services agreements, NDAs, amendments, and grant-related documents.
• Support real estate transactions through title review coordination, diligence tracking, issue spotting, and risk analysis.
• Assist with Board resolutions, internal approvals, and governance documentation tied to property disposition and funding.

• Experience with professional services agreements, consultant contracts, NDA's, amendments, and grant documentation
