Position Description

The Asset Management & Capital Markets Analyst supports two core functions at Overland Group: asset management and capital markets. This role is responsible for organizing, analyzing, and maintaining financial and operational information used to monitor asset performance, support financing transactions, and assist leadership in making informed capital and investment decisions. The position works closely with internal teams including Development and Accounting to ensure accurate and consistent financial information across projects and operating assets.

This position works directly with the President and supports the company’s Asset Management and Capital Markets functions. Because these functions currently operate with a very small team, the role provides broad exposure to real estate investment, development finance, lender and investor relationships, and operating asset performance. This is an entry-level opportunity for someone early in their career who is proactive, analytical, and eager to learn. The ideal candidate demonstrates grit, takes ownership of their responsibilities, and thrives in a small team environment where initiative, follow-through, and collaboration are essential.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and fulfill lender closing checklists for debt financings, working across multiple internal departments to gather required diligence materials
• Organize financing materials and support the preparation of lender and equity partner diligence packages
• Track financing timelines, diligence requests, and closing milestones during capital transactions
• Prepare offering memorandums, investor presentations, and other investment marketing materials
• Create and manage investment offerings within the company’s investor portal
• Maintain contact with debt and equity capital partners and assist with follow-up communication as directed
• Track upcoming capital needs across development projects and operating assets to help ensure financing and funding requirements are anticipated in advance
• Review monthly property financial statements and analyze operating performance
• Review budget versus actual performance for operating properties and identify notable variances
• Update asset-level financial models based on operating results and new assumptions
• Perform financial analysis related to refinances, potential asset sales, and capital planning decisions
• Prepare property performance summaries used for investor reporting
• Coordinate with Accounting on investor distributions and capital contribution tracking
• Review loan agreements and monitor ongoing compliance with lender covenants
• Review insurance policies across the portfolio to ensure required coverage is maintained
• Maintain organized financial records and support ad hoc analysis related to portfolio performance and capital planning

Qualifications

• Hardware Systems Integration experience, with preference for integration on military platforms

• Experience with the use of lab/field test equipment

The Mechanical Engineering group in the Shipboard Effectors Department is currently searching for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to work on a multi-discipline team to support design and upgrades of Shipboard Effectors products and subsystems.

This is an onsite role and located in Tucson, AZ.  

What You Will Do:

• Utilizing strong mechanical hardware design experience and knowledge with ruggedized structures, interconnects, cooling, and electronics integration

• Supporting all phases of programs from capture and concept development through production

• Developing technical solutions to a wide range of complex problems related to the entire product life cycle including proposal, design, manufacture, integration and test of electronics for multiple military programs

• Supervising the definitions of mechanical outline and construction details, component selection and specification, mechanical and assembly drawings, electrical/RF layout, and delivering the final technical data package

• Employing transition-to-production practices with the ability to lead a design release into production

• Tracking, reporting, and meeting cost, schedule, quality, and performance requirements for the finished product, including Earned Value (EV) management and Estimate at Complete (EAC) inputs

• Preparing proposal inputs on behalf of the product area

• Providing technical conscience, challenged with making sure the product and process meet appropriate standards and requirements while helping to remove roadblocks

• Working with minimal direction or supervision, while exercising considerable latitude in determining the technical objectives of the assignment while meeting cost, schedule, quality, and performance requirements for the finished product.

• Leading a small team of mechanical engineers when required

• Interacting frequently with senior personnel, occasionally including external customers, on significant technical matters often requiring coordination between organizations.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience.

• A minimum of eight (8) years of experience in the design of electronics packaging for military or aerospace or commercial applications

• Experience with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerances)

• The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance prior to the start date. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance 

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Experience with ANSI drawing standards and/or first order or structural analysis techniques.

  The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
