Job Description:

This Architect position is responsible for designing and guiding the overall structure of enterprise technology solutions, ensuring they align with organizational strategy and business objectives. They evaluate and select technologies, frameworks, and platforms to deliver secure, scalable, and efficient systems. This role requires collaboration with stakeholders across business, development, and operations teams to translate requirements into practical, sustainable designs. The IT Architect will also set standards, best practices, and governance models to ensure interoperability and long-term maintainability.

Responsibilities

• Designing and presenting complex architectures to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Translating business requirements into scalable, secure, and cost-effective technical solutions
• Utilizing automation and orchestration tools to drive efficiency and standardization
• Provide advanced systems administration, operations, maintenance, and support of network-related IT systems
• Diagnosing and solving software bugs and security vulnerabilities associated to IT related systems
• Ensuring compliance requirements (CJIS, HIPAA, etc.) relevant to infrastructure and data protection.

Qualifications:

• VMware Certified Advanced Professional (VCAP) or VMware Certified Design Expert (VCDX)
• Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator, Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate, or Azure Solutions Architect Expert
• Security certifications like CISSP, CISM, or GIAC
• Storage certifications (e.g., Pure Storage, NetApp, Dell EMC, HPE)

Experience:

• 5 to 10 years of increasingly responsible experience in infrastructure operations and engineering
