Position Summary

Manage, monitor and provide production routing, scheduling and production order closings for repair and capital projects (Direct involvement) executed through the Service Center. Also, responsible for coordinating and processing outside local purchases including initiating outsource purchase order processes and coordination. Will handle incoming and outgoing shipment processes which includes administrative and physical handling.

Major Duties

• Responsible for managing day to day activities for all production planning, methods and scheduling operations at the Service Center which includes production order releases with required drawing attachments.
• Creation of BOMs, routings and materials through company ERP system.
• Responsible for developing, maintaining and executing a Production Master Schedule using the company ERP system
• Responsible for the complete production order documentation accuracy from implementation to final closing to include shop operation time recording and completing executions.
• Responsible for all outside sub-contract work which includes the processing of purchase orders, expediting and closure to meet production schedules.
• Coordinating procurement or scheduling of any specialized equipment or services (ionized water generators, noise testing equipment, independent 3rd party inspections, etc…)
• Working with the warehouse and logistic resources ensuring crating/packaging, and freight requirements are met.
• Responsible for labor hour posting to projects that balance to payroll. Will balance direct labor hours to payroll day to day and will provide month-end final labor absorption reporting after the final closing is complete using Celonas.

• Responsible for defining and communicating day to day solutions to manufacturing and repair problems with off-site engineers in a timely manner. Must have a good line of communication from the facility to the design engineering group in Arlington and Product Specialist.
• Assist with DCI (Disassemble, Clean and Inspection) and aftermarket by developing parts cost and delivery estimates.
• Responsible for documenting and maintaining all capital, repair and aftermarket Master plan production schedules.
• Observe and support production personnel on proper procedures. This includes basic assembly documentation, machining, welding, test setups and basic fixturing.
• Quality Plan. Responsible for releasing production plans for the site which remains in compliant regarding the Andritz Separation quality plan.
• Ensure inspection standards, procedures and all technical documents are released complete and included in all Production order packet for clear understanding of scope.
• Follow up with outside vendors. Responsible for any plating, bead blasting, machining, etc. that happens outside of an Andritz facility. Control raw materials used in production through supplier certification system.
• Ensure communications with in-plant departments and external vendors; request correction of non-conforming parts; report rejected parts analysis to management daily.
• Develop standard operating procedures for areas of responsibility.
• Research complaints from assembly and production departments regarding inadequate materials by correcting through company-approved channels.
• Involvement in production records for accuracy to better control future production runs.
• Will coordinate and maintain MRP setting accuracy for manufacture parts
• Will analyze, maintain and recommend manufacture part reorder point stock levels.
• Will communicate and interface with customers in a technical capacity when required.
• This position may require extended hours as needed.
• Responsible for implementation and monthly updating of Preventive Maintenance logs for all production tools published in each department.

Basic Skills:

• Industrial or manufacturing degreed graduate preferred. Requires 5 or more years’ experience in a manufacturing environment reflecting progressive training in industrial machine manufacturing. Must have a clear understanding in interpreting detailed part and fabrication drawings. Technical writing skills, Typing, Advanced Microsoft office experience. Prefer training in related work such as machinist, welding, assembly, and sheet metal fabrication using advanced shop mathematics, typically gained through 3 to 5 years’ experience.

The Production Planning/Methods Manager will report directly to the Plant Manager has

Direct supervisory responsibility for all members of the Planning and Methods personnel.

Physical Demands

The physical demands of this position require the ability to sit or stand for long periods of time. Requires extended movements including stooping, bending and lifting or carrying up to 25 pounds. Make visual inspections with precise hand and finger movements, with reasoning and problem-solving ability.

This role is a critical part of the development team, responsible for underwriting new LIHTC developments, supporting transaction closings, and monitoring projects throughout construction and lease-up. Reporting to the Director, the Senior Associate will gain exposure to the full lifecycle of affordable housing development—from land acquisition through stabilization.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Analysis & Underwriting

• Build and maintain robust pro forma financial models for LIHTC developments, incorporating debt, equity, layered financing, and tax credit structures.
• Underwrite acquisition and development opportunities, evaluating feasibility, operating assumptions, and financial sustainability.
• Perform sensitivity analyses and scenario modeling to assess risk, credit pricing, and investor returns.
• Prepare financial packages and analytics to support negotiations with lenders, equity providers, and other capital partners.

Advanced LIHTC Responsibilities

• Model Year 15 outcomes including exit strategies, partnership buyouts, and asset disposition alternatives.
• Calculate credit delivery schedules, timing adjusters, and equity contributions tied to construction benchmarks and placed-in-service deadlines.
• Assist in analyzing and documenting 25% test compliance for bond-financed transactions.
• Support preparation and submission of IRS Form 8609s, ensuring accuracy in eligible basis and final cost certifications.
• Track construction loan paydowns and monitor equity installment schedules aligned with project milestones.
• Assist in permanent loan conversion processes, coordinating with lenders, attorneys, and internal teams.

Transaction Structuring & Due Diligence

• Prepare and review due diligence materials including forecasts, budgets, and financial analyses for investors and lenders.
• Review and provide comments on legal documents associated with transactions.
• Compare current deals to historical projects to inform underwriting and deal structuring.
• Collaborate with legal, accounting, and compliance teams to ensure accurate documentation and program compliance.

Development Support

• Partner with senior leaders across acquisition, financing, construction, lease-up, and stabilization phases.
• Track project performance against budgets, schedules, and funding requirements.
• Prepare presentations and reports for investment committees, lenders, and housing finance agencies.

Market & Policy Analysis

• Conduct market research to support site selection, rent assumptions, and competitive positioning.
• Stay current on LIHTC regulations, IRS compliance, state housing finance agency programs, and HUD policy changes.
• Monitor trends affecting tax credit pricing, interest rates, and affordable housing demand.

Key Requirements

• Experience in affordable housing development, financial analysis, or LIHTC-focused real estate finance.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, real estate, urban planning, or a related field preferred (not required).
• Strong Excel skills with the ability to build and interpret complex financial models independently.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and time-management skills.

We have an opportunity at our corporate offices in Chicago for a Sr. Data Engineer (Hybrid) on our Information Technology team. This is a hybrid position reporting into our Chicago, IL office, requiring 3 days a week in the office.

As a Sr. Data Engineer, you will play a key role in implementing
and maintaining AMA's enterprise data platform to support analytics,
interoperability, and responsible AI adoption. This role partners closely with
platform engineering, data governance, data science, IT security, and business
stakeholders to deliver highquality, reliable, and secure data products. This
role contributes to AMA's modern lakehouse architecture, optimizing data
operations, and embedding governance and quality standards into engineering
workflows. This role serves as a
senior technical contributor within the team-providing mentorship to junior
engineers and implementing engineering best practices within the data platform function,
in alignment with architectural direction set by leadership.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Data Engineering & AI Enablement

• Build and maintain scalable data pipelines and
  ETL/ELT workflows supporting analytics, operational reporting, and AI/ML use
  cases.
• Implement best practice patterns for ingestion,
  transformation, modeling, and orchestration within a modern lakehouse
  environment (e.g., Databricks, Delta Lake, Azure Data Lake).
• Develop highperformance
  data models and curated datasets with strong attention to quality, usability,
  and interoperability; create reusable engineering components and automation.
• Collaborate with the Architecture Team, the Data
  Platform Lead, and federated IT teams to optimize storage, compute, and
  architectural patterns for performance and costefficiency.
• Build model-ready data sets and feature
  pipelines to support AI/ ML use cases; serve as a technical coordination point
  supporting business units' AI-related infrastructure needs.
• Collaborate with data scientists and AI Working
  Group to operationalize models responsibly and maintain ongoing monitoring
  signals.

Governance, Quality & Compliance

• Embed data governance, metadata standards,
  lineage tracking, and quality controls directly into engineering workflows;
  ensure technical implementation and alignment within engineering workflows.
• Work with the Data Governance Lead and business
  stakeholders to operationalize stewardship, classification, validation,
  retention, and access standards.
• Implement privacybydesign and securitybydesign
  principles, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory
  obligations.
• Maintain documentation for pipelines, datasets,
  and transformations to support transparency and audit requirements.

Platform Reliability, Observability & Optimization

• Monitor and troubleshoot pipeline failures,
  performance bottlenecks, data anomalies, and platformlevel issues.
• Implement observability tooling, alerts,
  logging, and dashboards to ensure endtoend reliability.
• Support cost governance by optimizing compute
  resources, refining job schedules, and advising on efficient architecture.
• Collaborate with the Data Platform Lead on
  scaling, configuration management, CI/CD pipelines, and environment management.
• Collaborate with business units to understand
  data needs, translate them into engineering requirements, and deliver
  fit-for-purpose data solutions; share and apply best practices and emerging
  technologies within assigned initiatives.
• Work with IT Security and Legal/ Compliance to
  ensure platform and datasets meet risk and regulatory standards.
  

Staff Management

• Lead, mentor, and provide management oversight
  for staff.
• Responsible for setting objectives, evaluating
  employee performance, and fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Responsible for developing staff knowledge and
  skills to support career development.

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field preferred or equivalent work experience and HS diploma/equivalent education required.
2. 5+ years of experience in data engineering within cloud environments
3. Experience in people management preferred.
4. Demonstrated hands-on experience with modern data platforms (Databricks preferred).
5. Proficiency in Python, SQL, and data
   transformation frameworks.
6. Experience designing and operationalizing
   ETL/ELT pipelines, orchestration workflows (Airflow, Databricks Workflows), and
   CI/CD processes.
7. Solid understanding of data modeling,
   structured/unstructured data patterns, and schema design.
8. Experience implementing governance and quality
   controls: metadata, lineage, validation, stewardship workflows.
9. Working knowledge of cloud architecture, IAM,
   networking, and security best practices.
10. Demonstrated ability to collaborate across
    technical and business teams.
11. Exposure to AI/ML engineering concepts, feature
    stores, model monitoring, or MLOps patterns.
12. Experience with infrastructureascode

This role is an exempt position, and the salary range for this position is $115,523.42-$150,972.44. This is the lowest to highest salary we believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee's pay within the salary range will be determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to business consideration and geographical location, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
