WVU Medicine – United Hospital Center seeks an interventional cardiologist to join a well-established group with a strong reputation for providing excellent general and advanced cardiology care to a patient base of close to 300,000. The clinic is located in a medical office building connected to the hospital, for ease of movement between the two. There are three state-of-the-art cath labs situated on the second floor of the hospital, between a 20-bed critical care unit and surgical services. The interventional cardiology program is robust, with a very experienced staff.
Duties: Successful candidates will diagnose and treat patients with cardiovascular disease as well as congenital and structural heart conditions through catheter-based procedures.
Qualifications: Successful candidates must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible to obtain a state medical license. Applicants must have completed an accredited residency in Internal Medicine and fellowships in General Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology.
