Ideal Experience


  • The successful candidate will possess proven operational leadership experience within sophisticated manufacturing, consumer packaged goods (CPG), retail, or distribution organizations recognized for advanced supply chain and distribution practices.
  • Demonstrated track record of leading large-scale warehouse and distribution operations while driving operational performance and strategic improvements.
  • Proven ability to design and implement operational improvement initiatives that produce measurable financial and operational results.
  • Minimum fifteen (15) years of experience in distribution, warehouse, or supply chain leadership roles. Wholesale experience preferred.
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in an executive or senior leadership role overseeing complex distribution operations.

Major Areas of Responsibility:

About the Role:

The Facilities & Projects Engineer is responsible for leading and executing facility engineering and capital improvement projects that support safe, efficient, and compliant operations. Specifically, this role will manage the expansion of Circular’s Anaerobic Digestion and food recycling facility in Southington, CT. This role manages projects from early concepts and design through construction, commissioning, and close-out. They will work closely with operations, consultants, contractors, and vendors. Responsibilities:

  • Lead facility engineering and capital improvement projects, including scoping, planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join our team as a Permanent Senior Weld Manufacturing Engineer. This position is an integral part of our manufacturing operations and offers a unique opportunity to be involved in a wide range of processes and technologies. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and improving welding processes and procedures to enhance product quality and productivity. This role requires a deep understanding of various welding techniques, including laser and robotic welding, and the ability to utilize CAD, AutoCAD, and SolidWorks software.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and improve welding processes and procedures to enhance product quality and productivity.
  • Utilize CAD, AutoCAD, and SolidWorks to design and develop welding fixtures and tooling.
  • Lead the implementation of New Product Introduction (NPI) processes for welding operations.
  • Apply Lean Manufacturing principles to optimize welding processes and reduce waste.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address and resolve manufacturing, quality, and reliability issues.
  • Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians on welding techniques and procedures.
  • Conduct root cause analysis of welding defects and implement corrective actions.
  • Manage welding equipment maintenance and calibration to ensure optimal performance.
  • Stay abreast of the latest advancements in welding technologies and industry best practices.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in weld manufacturing engineering.
  • Proven experience with CAD, AutoCAD, and SolidWorks.
  • Excellent knowledge of laser and robotic welding techniques.
  • Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles.
