ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

• Design, fine-tune, and optimize large language models (LLMs) and multimodal models for healthcare-specific NLP tasks, such as information extraction, classification, and summarization from clinical documents (e.g., medical charts, patient files, scanned forms).
• Develop and improve document understanding pipelines, including fine-tuning OCR / layout-aware models (especially in cloud environments like Azure AI, Azure Foundry) to handle real-world variability in medical forms, handwriting, and scanned PDFs.
• Build and iterate on end-to-end ML solutions that transform unstructured healthcare data into structured, actionable insights
• Collaborate closely with clinicians, product managers, data annotators, and engineers to define problems, curate/annotate datasets, evaluate model performance against clinical and business metrics, and iterate quickly.
• Deploy models into production environments (cloud-based inference, batch processing, or API endpoints) with attention to latency, cost, scalability, and healthcare compliance considerations (HIPAA, data privacy).
• Stay current with advancements in LLMs, vision-language models, efficient fine-tuning techniques (LoRA/QLoRA, PEFT), RAG, multimodal AI, and domain-specific healthcare AI research.

REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:

The Director of Manufacturing will lead the production, planning, quality inspection and inventory control teams and work with the test and engineering teams for successful LRIP (Low-Rate Initial Production) of our Subsurface Compressor Systems; perform cost reduction; improve productivity, ensure quality builds; and ensure deliveries are made on time.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Lead and direct the manufacturing team to meet delivery commitments.
2. Develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule; identify risks and take mitigating actions to address them preemptively.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Position will lead the manufacturing team. Position will be responsible for directing and coordinating activities of others to meet company objectives.

Physical Demands / Work Environment:

Time will be split between office and shop floor. Personal protective equipment, such as safety glasses, gloves, or masks may be required in some assembly areas. Some travel will be required as needed for vendor visits/qualifications.

BCT Development is a fast-growing ground-up multifamily development company based in Newport Beach, CA. We’re looking for a Construction Manager to join our team and help oversee the construction of our active and upcoming build-to-rent communities.

About the role:

This position serves as an Owner’s Representative, working closely with third-party general contractors to keep projects on track in terms of quality, budget, and schedule. It’s a hands-on role that includes site visits, problem-solving, and close coordination with our internal development team. Experience with townhome or horizontal multifamily projects is a plus.

We’re seeking someone who enjoys being in the field, can manage multiple projects, and communicates effectively with contractors, consultants, and stakeholders.

What you’ll do:

• Represent BCT on active job sites, ensuring projects meet quality, safety, budget, and schedule goals.
• Oversee general contractors with regular site walks and progress reviews.
• Assist with reviewing construction documents, schedules, pay applications, and change orders.
• Participate in value engineering discussions to help keep projects cost-effective and efficient.
• Collaborate with internal development and operations teams to maintain project scope and timelines.
• Support the draw process, third-party inspections, and lender/investor reporting.
• Help identify potential project risks and assist in resolving issues as they arise.
• Foster strong relationships with GCs, consultants, trade partners, and city officials.

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3–7 years of experience in ground-up residential construction management (townhome or multifamily experience a plus).
• Familiarity with construction budgeting, scheduling, and value engineering.
• Comfortable managing multiple projects at different stages.
• Proficiency with Procore, MS Project (or equivalent), Bluebeam, and Excel.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
