The Product Manager is responsible for defining product vision, strategy, roadmap, and feature development for a portfolio of market surveillance products. This portfolio includes a large set of existing surveillance patterns as well as machine learning and deep learning models, some of which are undergoing redesign.

This role requires a highly autonomous product leader who can manage multiple feature initiatives simultaneously while partnering closely with business stakeholders to understand regulatory needs, operational pain points, and opportunities for improvement. The Product Manager will maintain product backlogs, prioritize enhancements, define roadmaps, and ensure the successful delivery of new surveillance capabilities and enhancements to existing systems.

The role also requires familiarity with financial market data sources, including audit trail data, exchange data, and reference data, and how these datasets support regulatory and compliance objectives.

Product Strategy & User Insight

• Develop a deep understanding of the business domain, regulatory objectives, and available data sources.

• Define product vision, strategy, and requirements based on user needs, regulatory priorities, and data insights.

• Conduct research, analyze user feedback, and leverage data analysis to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement.

Product Portfolio & Roadmap Management

• Own and manage the product roadmap for surveillance capabilities.

• Coordinate with dependent teams across the organization to support integrated product development.

Product Planning & Delivery

• Lead product planning by developing requirements, including user stories, acceptance criteria, and use cases.

• Maintain a prioritized product backlog aligned with product strategy and delivery capacity.

• Collaborate with UX/UI teams to guide user experience design.

• Participate in development reviews, validate acceptance criteria, and ensure product quality.

• Identify risks or issues that may impact delivery timelines or product performance and develop mitigation plans.

Product Launch & Adoption

• Lead product launches and coordinate with stakeholders on rollout planning.

• Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) where required.

• Develop supporting documentation and training materials.

• Track launch metrics, gather user feedback, and drive iterative improvements.

Product Operations & Continuous Improvement

Primary Purpose

This role works as part of the Essex Modern Technology & Engineering (MT&E) team and will be focused on owning and driving the Human Centered Design (HCD) capability at the company. This is a senior Staff-level role with operational and strategic deliverables across client-facing projects and internal company initiatives. Position Summary:

Are you a hands-on engineer who enjoys designing, building, and supporting modern communication platforms? Do you like solving complex problems and working with teams that move quickly from idea to delivery? This role offers the opportunity to make an immediate impact.

As a member of the Telephony and Contact Center Technologies team, you will design, engineer, implement, and support Securian's enterprise telephony and contact center platforms. This role is focused on delivering secure, scalable, cloud-first communication solutions using RingCentral, NiCE CXone, and Cyara.

You will work closely with Contact Center Operations, Agile delivery teams, and technology partners to continuously improve customer and associate experiences across the enterprise.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Design, engineer, implement, and support enterprise UCaaS and CCaaS platforms

• Provide daily operational support for cloud-based telephony, unified communications, SIP services, and IVR solutions

Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience engineering and supporting cloud-based telephony or contact center platforms

• Strong understanding of VoIP technologies, SIP, and call routing concepts

• RingCentral and RingCentral Contact Center engineering

• NiCE inContact / CXone administration and development

• Cyara or similar modern telephony orchestration platforms

• Experience designing and supporting UCaaS and CCaaS (including IVRs and contact center workflows) solutions in large enterprise environments

• Solid knowledge of networking concepts related to real-time communications

Preferred Qualifications:

• Supporting remote contact center agents

• REST API integrations and automation

• Scripting using PowerShell or Python

• Workforce management, call recording, or speech technologies

• PSTN carrier and phone number lifecycle management
