Education and Experience Requirements
SkillBridge Structural Mech II- 2 years related structural assembly experience.
SkillBridge Structural Mech III- 4 years related structural assembly experience.
SkillBridge Structural Mech IV - 6 years related structural assembly experience.
- Safely perform assembly and fitting of detail parts and structures and varied drilling and riveting operations; ensures parts/assembly meet requirements. Safely perform sheetmetal layout, fabrication, and installation of parts, equipment or fabricated items on aircraft .
- Rivet structural assemblies and parts using all tools required. to do the job (e.g. portable riveting guns, pneumatic guns, pneumatic drills, counter sinks, rivet shavers, files, reamers, rivets). Must display the ability to remove fasteners without damaging structure .
- Read work orders, blueprints, lofts, sketches and operation sheets to determine sequence of operations, type size and hole pattern for rivets, cut and form plastics and follow standard operating procedures when using adhesives, sealants, and solvents .
- Check all work and ensure a defective free assembly prior to final inspection .
- Maintain and use all logs and records (e.g. MIR sheets, DMTs, Crabs, PCOs) .
- Align and assemble parts to be riveted using jigs, holding fixtures, pins, clamps, and fasteners. Utilizing proper tooling, shape and form complex angles and configurations according to blueprint specifications or written/verbal information .
- Make repairs per Discrepant Material Tags (DMT), Material Review Request (MRR), Production Change Orders (PCO), performs necessary rework to ensure installations meet conformity .
- Maintain a neat and orderly work area, supports the company 5S Program, and complies with all safety regulations. Use personal protective equipment as required.
- Properly collect and dispose of waste fuel, oil, hydraulic fluids, de-icing fluids, and solvent rags .
- Ensure accurate daily job charging to the aircraft .
- Exchange job related information and coordinate work activities between shifts through turn over report meetings and direct contact with leadership .
- Assist in maintaining shop equipment and associated JSAs .
- Support Lean Activities .
- Must be able to read and interpret blue prints.
- Basic computer skills and basic shop math skills.

Position Overview
The Test / Endurance Driver plays a key role in evaluating the performance, durability, and safety of construction and agricultural equipment. In this role, you will conduct structured endurance cycles, operate machinery in varied terrains, document findings, and collaborate closely with engineering and testing teams.
This is a 6‑month assignment with a competitive pay range of $33.00–$36.00 per hour, based on experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate machinery such as skid steers, compact track loaders, telehandlers, and specialty vehicles across controlled test courses.
- Perform long‑duration endurance test cycles following established engineering protocols.
- Identify and document performance deviations, mechanical issues, noise irregularities, and component failures.
- Provide detailed feedback to engineering and technical teams to support improvements.
- Maintain accurate test logs, performance data, and incident reports.
- Perform basic pre‑ and post‑operation inspections, including fluid checks and equipment care.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and utilize proper PPE at all times.

Parts Development – Powertrain Assistant Manager
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Understand program sourcing requirements and key milestones in support of product launch.
- Identify potential suppliers, analyze capabilities, determine pricing, and select suppliers in collaboration with Engineering and cross-functional teams.
- Select, develop, and manage the supply base for assigned commodities by:
- Preparing and owning RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs for multi-year full production volume
- Preparing bid packages, conducting bidder conferences, analyzing and evaluating proposals
- Negotiating with and recommending suppliers
- Administering resulting contracts
- Negotiating long-term agreements and maintaining best-in-class pricing
- Leading cost reduction initiatives
- Develop assigned commodities with sourced suppliers to meet all specifications and timing requirements.
- Evaluate and guide final supplier selection. Assess supplier core competencies and cost competitiveness using company and industry “should-cost” models.
- Direct and manage suppliers through the established Parts Development process from concept through mass production.
- Develop and achieve target quality levels at each milestone, establishing improvement plans and countermeasures for parts or suppliers impacting Quality, Cost, or Delivery.
- Drive flawless launches at assigned supplier sites, collaborating with cross-functional teams and ensuring adherence to ISIR (PPAP) requirements.
- Proactively identify and resolve issues related to Quality, Cost, and Delivery.
- Lead effective working-level meetings with suppliers for fast issue resolution and relationship development.
- Continuously negotiate piece price and tooling costs to achieve target vehicle cost objectives.
- Develop purchasing strategies in collaboration with Engineering, Quality, Production, and related teams.

- Monitor and support supply chain continuity to prevent production disruptions.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Management, Supply Chain, Finance, Accounting, or related field from an accredited university
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
Preferred:
- Minimum 5+ years of related experience
- Automotive industry experience in Purchasing, APQP, PPAP, Supplier Development/Engineering, Launch, Program Management, or related areas
- Experience with manufacturing processes including injection molding, press, stamping, die casting, welding, assembly, paint, chroming and surface treatments, foaming, cut & sew, SMC, extrusion, SMT, various raw materials, etc.
- Experience with Engines and Transmissions strongly preferred
- Experience working for an OEM or major commodity supplier
- Strong ability to analyze and break down piece pricing
- Bilingual (English/Korean/Spanish combinations preferred)

- Using standard safety and operating procedures, design/engineering drawings, tools and other materials (sandpaper, polishes, adhesives, solvents, masking mediums), develops proficiency in the preparation and finish of furniture. .
- Use the material tracking system to create parts demand, track squawks and to sign-off work.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Vocational or Technical Certification Post Secondary degree or Technical Certifications, preferred
- Basic tools, required
- Demonstrated aptitude and applied experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines including:
- Routine preventative maintenance, which should include oil changes, brake and tire work
- Basic diagnostics and repairs, including AC and electrical systems, required
- Three (3) years or more relevant work experience, preferred
- All other certification as required by location, required
- Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) CLASS A,preferred
- All other certification as required by location, required
- ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience with mechanical repairs and diagnostics on heavy duty and medium duty equipment
- Knowledge of and the ability to apply knowledge of computer skills: PC, Windows, mouse, etc.
- This position requires for you to drive Ryder vehicles. In order to become a Ryder employee you must:
- Must be able to obtain CDL within 6 months after hire
- Pass a Ryder Drug Test
- Pass a DOT physical
- Pass a Ryder road test
- Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years

Responsibilities
- Performs vehicle maintenance and repair duties including:
- Performs standard vehicle maintenance
- Performs preventive maintenance
- Diagnoses complex mechanical and electronic problems utilizing diagnostic computer when applicable
- Completes complex and detailed mechanical inspections & repairs with minimal supervision
- Replaces defective components as instructed
- Works unsupervised on most tasks
- Performs facility maintenance duties
- Interacts with customers/drivers to properly determine nature of complaint once assigned a task.
- Utilizes key functions of Shop Management System and electronic documentation available.
- Works in accordance with all federal/ provincial and corporate compliance guidelines (i.e., safety, DOT, MOT).
