GP Strategies Government Solutions has an immediate need for a Part-Time Aviation Instructor to support a large aerospace manufacturing client in the Renton/Auburn/South Park, WA area. The Instructor will teach classes onsite. Instructors are teaching mostly 1st and 2nd shift. The content is already created so the Instructor is not responsible for creating the content.

• CMES ADPP Basics for BCA Quality

Job Summary:

• Utilize teaching aids such as training handbooks, demonstration models, multimedia visual aids, computer tutorials and reference works.
• Apply learning techniques to ensure student retention and prove competency in specific tasks and behaviors.
• Manage the course training environment to enable the course content to be delivered as designed.
• Delivers training sessions covering specified areas of technical specialty.
• Deploys learning assessments to measure progress and to evaluate effectiveness of recommended training.
• Travels to client sites as needed.
• Participate in and prepare to deliver other courses within expertise domain knowledge areas

Qualifications:

• Experience in the aviation/aerospace Industry
• Experience as an Instructor in a classroom environment
• Manage basic technology to deliver
• Understanding of CMES (Common Manufacturing Execution System) a plus

• Sedentary Work – Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.

Job Description:

Holaday-Parks is seeking an experienced Design Engineer to support the design and execution of complex commercial and industrial mechanical construction projects. This role is best suited for an engineer who has developed a strong technical foundation in HVAC system design and is comfortable contributing meaningfully to projects with increasing autonomy.

The Design Engineer will support design-build and design-assist projects, collaborating closely with project management, estimating, and field teams to deliver high-performance mechanical systems. This individual should be capable of managing assigned scopes of work, resolving technical challenges, and operating independently once oriented to project standards and processes. This position supports large-scale and schedule-driven projects and requires a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.

Essential Functions:

• Develop HVAC and mechanical system designs for commercial and industrial projects
• Perform heating and cooling load calculations and equipment sizing
• Prepare mechanical layouts, ductwork and piping schematics, and coordinated Revit models
• Review drawings, specifications, and contract documents
• Participate in design-assist and design-build coordination meetings
• Collaborate with estimating during preconstruction phases
• Support constructability reviews and value engineering efforts
• Review technical submittals and assist with complex RFIs
• Coordinate with project managers, field leadership, general contractors, and owners
• Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, energy standards, and project requirements
• Support project timelines in fast-paced, schedule-driven environments

Qualifications and Education:

·       Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering

·       4+ years of experience in mechanical (HVAC) design within commercial or industrial construction

·       PE license preferred or actively preparing to sit for the PE exam

·       Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD

·       Strong understanding of mechanical codes and energy standards

·       Experience in design-build or design-assist project delivery

·       Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

·       Strong problem-solving and communication skills

·       Experience supporting large-scale or mission-critical facilities

·       EIT certification

·       Familiarity with Bluebeam and project coordination software

·       Experience collaborating directly with field installation teams

Work Environment:

·       Office-based in Tukwila, WA

·       Occasional site visits as needed

·       Collaborative, team-oriented environment supporting active construction projects

The Position

The EHS Manager is a champion of safety culture, responsible for developing and implementing programs that ensure compliance with the Heico EHS management system, regulatory requirements, and the site’s strategic goals. Reporting to the Facility VP/GM, this visible role requires a strong presence on the production floor and close collaboration with employees, supervisors, managers, and corporate/regional EHS teams. The role may also be overseeing the work of staff, hourly employees, or external consultants.

Job Description

Primary Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of safety policies, procedures, and training programs to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Promote a proactive safety culture by training managers and employees in safe work practices, fire prevention, chemical/material handling, and emergency response.
• Serves as a visible leader on the production floor, conducting inspections, identifying risks, and ensuring timely corrective or preventative actions.
• Plans and implements training programs for managers and employees on safe work practices, fire prevention, and proper handling of materials.
• Guides management and supervisors in accident investigations and partnering with HR on workers’ compensation, hearings, and insurance cases.
• Manages environmental compliance, including waste stream management (RCRA/DOT), manifests, labeling, and wastewater treatment operations.
• Ensures that all waste is stored in compliance with RCRA and other relevant regulations.
• Conducts environmental and safety inspections and determines corrective or preventative measures where indicated and follows up to ensure measures have been implemented.
• Completes and submits all environmental reports required by various agencies.
• Plans and implements safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal rules and regulations.
• Prepares studies and analyses of industrial accident causes and hazards to health for use by company personnel and outside agencies.
• Compiles and submits accident reports required by company and regulatory agencies.
• Oversees the administration of workers' compensation program, including working with the insurance carrier to eliminate employee industrial accidents, working in tandem with the Human Resources department.
• Represents the organization in community or industry safety groups and programs.
• Maintains safety files and records.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of industrial EHS experience including at least 5 years’ management level EHS experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in engineering, safety, environmental or related science
• Strong working knowledge of applicable EHS laws and regulations, state, local, and federal
• Excellent time management, project coordination and organizational skills
• Strong analytical skills and ability to leverage data to make/gather support for business decisions
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
• Ability to think strategically and solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
• Ability to carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
• Strong team building and team-participation skills

• Must be able to use Excel, Word, and Outlook
• If needed must be able to obtain “Operator in Training Certification” from State of Washington Department of Ecology
• Must be able to understand the process flow and reactions occurring within each component of the wastewater treatment and acid recovery system
• Must be able to understand and apply basic principles of chemistry (i.e. pH, acids/bases)
• Certification in an EHS related discipline and/or further education is a plus.

• Must be able to pass preemployment background, drug/alcohol, and physical screenings
