The Opportunity
As a dedicated Property Adjuster Specialist , you will work within established guidelines and framework to investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and settle complex property insurance claims presented by or against our members. You will confirm and analyzes coverage, recognize liability exposure and negotiate equitable settlements in compliance with all state regulatory requirements.
Property Adjuster Specialist focus on using technology and desk adjusting for a virtual first approach to inspections and claims handling. USAA also provides a company vehicle to physically inspect losses within your locally assigned territory. Field Adjusters may travel outside of their local territory to respond to claims in other regions when needed. This is an hourly, non-exempt position with paid overtime available.
This is a field-based role for Seattle or Kitsap County, WA . Candidates currently living in this location or willing to self-relocate are encouraged to apply.
What you'll do:Proactively manages assigned claims caseload comprised of complex damages that require commensurate knowledge and understanding of claims coverage including potential legal liability.
Partners with vendors and internal business partners to facilitate complex claims resolution. May also involve external regulatory coordination to ensure appropriate documentation and compliance.
Investigates claim damages by conducting research from various sources, including the insured, third parties, and external resources. May identify and resolve potential discrepancies and identifies subrogation potential resulting from unusual characteristics.
Identifies coverage concerns, reviews prior loss history, determines and creates Special Investigation Unit (SIU) referrals, when appropriate. Determines coverage through analyzing information involving complex policy terms and contingencies.
Determines and negotiates complex claims settlement within authority limits. Develops recommendations and collaborates with management for determining settlement amounts outside of authority limits and accurately manages claims outcomes.
Maintains accurate, thorough, and current claim file documentation throughout the claims process.
Advance knowledge of estimating technology platforms and virtual inspection tools. Utilizes platforms and tools to prepare claims estimates to manage complex property insurance claims.
Supports workload surges and catastrophe (CAT) response operations as needed, including mandatory on-call dates and potential evening, weekend, and/or holiday work outside normal work hours.
May be assigned CAT deployment travel with minimal notice during designated CATs.
Works various types of claims, including ones of higher complexity, and may be assigned additional work outside normal duties as needed.
Works independently solving complex problems with minimal guidance; acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
Adjusts complex claims with attorney involvement.
Recognizes and addresses jurisdictional challenges such as applicable legislation and construction considerations.
May require travel to resolve claims, attend training, and conduct in-person inspections.
Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.

2 years of relevant property claims adjusting experience of moderate complexity losses that includes writing estimates, involving dwelling and structural damages.
Advanced knowledge of estimating losses using Xactimate or similar tools and platforms.

Job Summary
Responsible for performing general firefighting and emergency medical care at fire and disaster scenes.
Essential Duties
- Responds to fire alarms with a company; lays and connects hose, holds nozzles and directs water stream; raises and climbs ladders; uses chemical extinguishers, bars, hooks, lines, and other equipment.
- Drives fire apparatus; operates pumps, and other auxiliary fire apparatus.
- Ventilates burning buildings by opening windows and skylights or cutting holes in roofs and floors.
- Removes persons from danger and administers emergency care to injured or ill persons.
- Performs general maintenance work in the upkeep of department property, cleans and washes walls and floors, cares for grounds around station; makes minor repairs, washes, hangs and dries hose; washes, cleans, polishes, maintains and tests apparatus and equipment.
- Performs salvage and overhaul operations such as throwing salvage covers, sweeping water and removing debris.
- Participates in fire drills and attends classes in firefighting and emergency medical care.
- Inspects buildings to determine fire hazards.

- Writes and maintains accurate reports.
- At higher level of Firefighter, instructs job skills to others.

Work is usually performed during 24-hour shifts. May frequently require exposure to hazardous conditions that are typical to a fire or emergency situation, such as, intense heat, smoke, burning debris and falling structures. As an Integral Fuel Tank Sealer, you will be essential in maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety during the sealing and assembly processes. Utilizing detailed installation plans and specifications, you will prepare tank surfaces, load sealing equipment, and apply sealants and topcoats according to established guidelines. Conducting thorough inspections and shakedowns of work areas prior to tank closure will ensure that any damaged seals or components are repaired and that all systems are functioning correctly. You will also assist with pressure testing operations and perform functional tests on fuel vent systems to identify and address any leaks. Your attention to detail will be critical in determining the appropriate sealing compounds and methods for each task, ensuring compliance. Please note that this role involves working in tight spaces, including entering the wing through a 9.5”X17.7" opening; therefore, comfort with confined spaces is essential for success in this position.

Position Responsibilities:

Gather necessary sealants, solvents, cleaners, and wipers from the designated storage area.
Install ventilation equipment as required to ensure proper airflow in the work cavity.
Clean tank surfaces using appropriate solvents or detergents, ensuring they are wiped dry.
Clean and adjust sealing equipment to ensure proper functionality.
Load sealing guns and apply sealant and/or topcoat per BAC specifications, including fillet seals to system components and sealing heads and collars of fasteners.
Perform a shake-down of work areas prior to tank closure to repair any damaged seals or components and prepare for inspection.
Apply wing station identification numbers on tank doors using stencils and spray paint as required.
Install fuel tank closure panels or access doors after all necessary steps are complete and accepted by quality assurance.
Assist with pressure testing operations and perform functional tests on fuel vent systems and tank cavities to determine if leaks exist.
Submit completed jobs or in-process checks to inspectors for acceptance or rejection.
Determine proper sealing compounds, sequence of work, and method of application to accomplish assignments.
Apply aerodynamic seals to skin gaps on leading and trailing edge panels as required.
Position tools for locating vortex generators and apply faying surface seals as needed.
Maintain personal and tool certifications, ensuring compliance with operational standards, and contact supervisors for assistance when needed.

TEKsystems is partnering with a client looking for a highly experienced Network Engineer with at least seven years of industry experience and strong expertise in large‑scale DWDM deployments and optical networking technologies. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of IP networking fundamentals, including hands‑on experience with routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF, as well as major router platforms like Cisco 37xx, 49xx, 65xx, 73xx, and 76xx. They should excel in network analysis and troubleshooting while demonstrating broad familiarity with technologies such as IPv4/IPv6, HSRP/GLBP, PIMv2, IGMP, LDP, IPSEC, DNS, and more. Candidates must also be comfortable using command‑line tools, reading and modifying Python or automation‑related code, and discussing automation solutions for configuration, deployment, and network optimization. Additional strengths include DWDM UI familiarity, Linux experience, and competency with optical components such as amplifiers, transponders, multiplexers, and Raman/EDFA systems.
