Our Diesel Mechanics perform inspection, diagnosis and repair of electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems on vehicles and equipment, including diesel heavy trucks and engines. Performs preventive maintenance inspection (PMI); troubleshoots, repairs, and rebuilds major components on vehicles and equipment. Ensures accurate diagnosis and effective repair and/or replacement of component.

Requirements

• 2+ years’ experience working as a heavy-duty Diesel Mechanic
• Hydraulics experience is highly preferred
• Engine and transmission maintenance and repairs
• Experience with diagnostic software such as Premium Tech Tool (Mack), Allison transmission, Cummins, Peterbilt, and Paccar.
• Chassis component repairs and maintenance including air brakes system, suspension, drivetrain and steering components.
• Maintain and repair exhaust systems equipped with DPF systems.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate / OSHA Standards.
• Assists with service calls for breakdowns
• Must be able to provide own tools.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Preform other duties as assigned.

• Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures. 
• Completes required paperwork utilizing fleet maintenance software program associated with repairing vehicles, documenting parts usage, and accounting for repair times.  
• Assists in the repair and adjustment of equipment.  
• Washes vehicles and equipment.  
• Conducts safety checks on vehicles.  
• Assists with service calls for breakdowns.  
• Perform other maintenance related work as required. 
• Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate / OSHA Standards.

The Level A Fleet Mechanic/Technician is the top-tier technical expert in the shop, responsible for advanced diagnostics, complex repairs, and technical leadership across refuse trucks, heavy trucks/tractors, and support assets.  This role sets the standard for safety, quality, productivity, and training, and partners with maintenance leadership to drive up time and regulatory compliance across the fleet.

Advanced Diagnostics & Complex Repairs

• Lead diagnosis and resolution of complex, intermittent, or chronic issues involving:
• Engine performance and emissions/aftertreatment (DPF, DOC, SCR, sensors, dosing systems).
• CAN-bus and multiplex electrical systems, electronic control modules, and communication networks.
• Advanced hydraulics for refuse bodies, auto-load arms, high-pressure systems, and heavy truck power take-offs.
• Plan and execute major component work including major engine reparis, transmission and differential R&R, frame-off repairs, and complex hydraulic rebuilds.

Technical Leadership & Training

• Serve as the go-to technical resource for Level B and Level C technicians; provide on-the-job training, coaching, and quality checks.
• Assist in training on:
  • Diagnostic software and tools.
  • New equipment technology, safety systems, and telematics.
  • Company maintenance standards, PM strategies, and repair procedures.

Fleet Reliability, Compliance & Continuous Improvement

• Analyze repeat repairs, failure trends, and PM findings; recommend changes to PM intervals, inspection checklists, or parts specifications.
• Ensure all work complies with DOT, FMCSA, OSHA, BIC, DEP and environmental regulations, as well as state/local requirements in NY, NYC, NJ, and CT.
• Perform and sign off on the most critical inspections (e.g., PDI, PM and Annual inspections, accident damage assessments, major repair QC).

Operational & Customer Support

• Support complex road calls and on-site repairs on the road, at transfer stations, MRFs, or customer locations throughout the NYC tri-state area.
• Partner with Operations and Dispatch to minimize downtime, sequence repairs effectively, and prioritize critical units i.e. NYC dense-route refuse units, specialized collection assets.
• Provide clear feedback to leadership on equipment condition, replacement candidates, and chronic issues affecting uptime or safety.

Administrative & Leadership Duties (as assigned)

• Help plan daily shop workload and allocate jobs according to technician skill level.
• Assist in specifying parts, evaluating vendor options, and supporting warranty recovery efforts.
• Support audits, safety inspections, and external regulatory reviews as the technical representative for the shop.

• High school diploma or GED required; additional technical training strongly preferred.

• A minimum of 5 years of proven hands-on experience as a diesel mechanic as a diesel/heavy-equipment mechanic/technician, including advanced diagnostics and major component overhaul.
• CDL Class B or A with air brake endorsement required or strongly preferred due to frequent road tests and movement of collection vehicles on public roads.

• Demonstrated expert-level knowledge of:
  • Heavy truck and refuse systems.
  • Refuse hydraulic, electrical, and powertrain systems.
  • Diagnostic software, scan tools, and OEM service information.
• Proven track record of performing complex diagnostics and repairs independently.
• Must provide own professional-grade tools required for diagnostic and repair work.
• ASE Master Medium/Heavy Truck Technician or equivalent combination of ASE certifications (T series) and/or OEM advanced certifications preferred.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license is required.
• Experience in a lead or senior technician role in a refuse, municipal, or large private fleet environment preferred.
• Experience with CNG/LNG, hybrid, or EV drivetrains for heavy vehicles preferred.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to coach, influence, and drive standards across multiple shifts or locations preferred.

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Finish Carpentry Estimator will be responsible for all aspects of preparing hard bid construction cost estimates. The Graphic Designer is responsible for executing high-quality packaging, print, and digital design initiatives that support Overseas Food Trading’s expanding global product portfolio. This role combines creative development with technical production expertise to ensure visually compelling, production-ready materials that align with brand standards, regulatory requirements, and commercial objectives.

The position supports cross-functional departments, including Sales, Marketing, Product Development, Compliance, and Logistics, ensuring that all creative assets are delivered accurately, efficiently, and within established timelines. The Graphic Designer plays a key role in maintaining brand consistency, supporting product launches, and contributing to the company’s continued growth in both retail and foodservice sectors.

This role requires effective collaboration with internal stakeholders and external print vendors. The individual must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities may shift and must respond with flexibility, professionalism, and structured follow-through.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Creative Development & Design Execution

• Develop compelling packaging, product labels, marketing collateral, and digital assets that effectively showcase the company’s global product portfolio.

• Execute design projects from initial concept through final production, ensuring alignment with brand standards and commercial objectives.

• Translate product positioning and sales strategies into visually engaging creative solutions.

• Maintain consistency across multiple brands while adapting designs to category-specific requirements.

• Contribute creative ideas during team brainstorming sessions and design reviews while remaining receptive to direction and feedback.

Packaging Production & Technical File Preparation

• Prepare production-ready artwork files in accordance with printer specifications, dielines, and regulatory labeling requirements.

• Ensure proper setup of bleeds, color profiles, trapping, typography, and layout accuracy for print production.

• Create accurate mockups and renderings for internal review, sales presentations, and customer approvals.

• Coordinate proof reviews and revisions to maintain quality control prior to final release.

• Communicate directly with print vendors and external production partners to confirm technical specifications and production timelines.

Project Management & Workflow Coordination

• Manage multiple concurrent projects while maintaining high standards of quality and meeting established deadlines.

• Proactively prioritize workload based on shifting business needs and launch timelines.

• Support Senior Graphic Designer and team members during peak periods to ensure departmental efficiency.

• Maintain organized digital file structures, version control, and archived assets for long-term accessibility.

• Track project progress and follow through to completion with structured organization and accountability.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Product Development, and Compliance to ensure design solutions align with regulatory standards and commercial objectives.

• Incorporate stakeholder feedback efficiently while maintaining design integrity and visual clarity.

• Support product launches by ensuring all creative materials are completed accurately and delivered on schedule.

• Assist in resolving design-related production issues through clear communication and solution-oriented problem solving.

Continuous Improvement & Brand Support

• Stay current with packaging trends, print technologies, and food industry design standards.

• Identify opportunities to enhance workflow efficiency and creative processes within the Design Department.

• Contribute to the ongoing elevation of brand presentation across retail and foodservice channels.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related field required.

• A minimum of 3 years of professional graphic design experience, preferably in packaging, print production, or food/CPG industries.

• Demonstrated experience preparing production-ready artwork files for commercial print.

• Experience collaborating cross-functionally within a structured business environment preferred.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:

• Strong foundation in design principles including layout, typography, color theory, and visual hierarchy.

• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat).

• Advanced Photoshop capabilities, including photo manipulation, retouching, and product renderings.

• Solid understanding of packaging mechanics, dielines, labeling requirements, and print production processes.

• Knowledge of color management, prepress preparation, and technical file setup for commercial printing.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities with structured organization and attention to detail.

• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot production-related issues.

• Working knowledge of FDA labeling standards or food packaging compliance requirements is a plus.

Language and Communication Skills:

• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

• Ability to clearly articulate design concepts, creative rationale, and technical requirements to internal stakeholders and external vendors.

The successful candidate will provide comprehensive ambulatory and inpatient care with a focus on “age Friendly Healthcare”, while contributing to clinical research, education and quality improvement initiatives. Requirements Include

· Completion of a fellowship in geriatric medicine in a recognized institution.

· Board-certified/Board-eligible in Internal Medicine/Geriatrics.

· Ability to obtain New Jersey Medical License, DEA and CDS license.
