Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

· Independently manage a caseload.

This position will provide legal services to a multi-generational family office that has a wide range of asset classes and routinely engages in sophisticated transactions of many types. The Corporate Counsel will be a key member of the Company’s legal team reporting to the lawyer who started the legal department twenty plus years ago and who was a principal architect of creating the current family office’s structures. In this role, the Corporate Counsel will provide advice and support on a broad range of legal and associated issues involved in carrying out the strategy of the business and optimizing its performance. The work can include matters of reviewing and negotiating contracts, real estate transactions, estate planning, corporate compliance, mergers and acquisitions and general business law matters.
