Sr. Engineering Manager, AI/ML Serving Platform

The AI/ML Serving Platform team provides foundational tools and infrastructure used by hundreds of AI/ML engineers across Pinterest, including recommendations, ads, visual search, growth/notifications, trust and safety. We aim to ensure that AI/ML systems are efficient, healthy (production-grade quality) and fast (for modelers to iterate upon).

The Fung Fellowship at the University of California, Berkeley invites applications for a pool of part-time lecturer positions in Design and Technology Innovation should an opening arise. We seek candidates that have experience to teach a 3-unit fall and/or spring course for undergraduates who have been selected for the Fung Fellowship for Technology Innovations, a one-year program that develops leadership, teaming, storytelling, technology innovation, and human centered design. This lecturer pool has been generated in case of need for teaching for two courses: (1) Health + Tech Innovations course and (2) Conservation + Tech Innovations course. The Role

As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for providing engineering inputs integral to both small and large scale hydro projects. You will lead and mentor teams, support management of production and coordinate delivery of engineering inputs often with multi-disciplinary project team members and senior stakeholders. You will not only support and help grow the broader engineering team capabilities, but your particular focus will be on continuing the development of our powerhouse and energy capabilities and working with key staff in growing that aspect of the business.

• Must be registered as a Professional Engineer (P.E.) in California, Oregon, or Washington, as well as eligible for registration as a professional engineer in other states by comity through NCEES.

Position Snapshot/A Day in the Life:

This Associate Engineer position will be within the Traffic Division of the Public Works/Engineering Department. With a team of 11 (7 of whom are primarily responsible for signal operations and maintenance), we are responsible for overseeing the City's transportation system, including supporting Capital Improvements Projects, Land Development projects, Street Maintenance, Planning, and others.

Role Overview

We are seeking two highly skilled Mechanical Engineers with experience in the Aerospace & Defense sector to support the development and integration of advanced thermal management subsystems used across military and commercial platforms globally.

This role focuses on mechanical subsystem development from a packaging and integration perspective, including enclosure design and integration of electronic and fluid control components such as pumps, compressors, fans, and valves. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience developing aerospace-grade subsystems within defined volume and interface constraints, ensuring high reliability, environmental robustness, and compliance with industry standards.

These roles will support programs progressing from Preliminary Design Review (PDR) toward Critical Design Review (CDR) and will involve reuse and adaptation of existing product architectures.
