A Contingent position that will work with Designers, Vehicle Performance, and Electronics Specialists to test, modify, and evolve hardware systems on race cars and track-focused road cars. Work to prove-out durability and performance to technical targets. Report and communicate on lessons-learned during the development process. Devise innovative tools and methods to test cars, subsystems, and parts. Document problem reports for failures in the field. Analyze data logged on cars, to trace down root causes. Track and manage resolution of vehicle hardware issues. Devise countermeasures. Work with designers and manage 3rd parties to implement design changes. Manage and execute testing of countermeasure parts. Manage and execute test and development of new vehicles, and vehicle hardware updates. Regularly liaise with 3rd party vendors, race teams, and test facilities. Specify instrumentation, perform data analysis, and write reports on the outcomes of development initiatives. Devise new and improved ways to test parts and systems, either in track driving tests, or in workshop rig tests. Work with designers, electronics groups, and suppliers to implement new testing equipment and methods.

The Electrical Design Contingent Engineer will support company projects by performing electrical design activities, collaborating cross‑functionally, and ensuring all design solutions meet performance, cost, manufacturing, and timeline targets. This role requires hands‑on involvement in design, prototyping, assembly trials, and coordination with internal teams and external suppliers.
Key AccountabilitiesConduct electrical design activities in support of company project requirements. Develop new or improved designs, including 3D modeling and 2D drawings, incorporating modern technologies, industry trends, manufacturability, environmental considerations, cost, and ease of assembly. Recommend optimized design solutions to solve problems or reduce cost while meeting performance and project targets. Perform engineering hand calculations where needed (e.g., beam bending, pressure drop). Understand and apply creepage and clearance methodologies for high‑voltage components. Design wire harnesses; experience with harness layout in assembly design is a plus. Perform tolerance stack‑up calculations to ensure proper assembly under all part variances. Collaborate with other departments to ensure on‑time delivery of practical and optimized electrical design solutions. Job Details Position Summary The Quality Engineer supports the Quality Manager in ensuring that all aerospace windshields, canopies, and transparency components meet internal, customer, and regulatory requirements.
This role is critical in driving process improvements, conducting first-article inspections, supporting customer and government audits, and enhancing the overall quality management system (QMS).

Job Details Position Summary We are seeking an experienced, decisive, hands-on Quality Manager to lead quality operations within our aerospace windshield and transparency manufacturing department.
This role oversees all quality assurance and control functions, ensuring compliance with customer, regulatory, and industry standards while directing a team of inspectors and quality professionals.

Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the quality department, including 8 inspectors, 1 Quality Engineer, and 1 administrative staff member.

Oversee and approve first-article inspections (FAI) and ongoing production inspections.
Develop, implement, and manage quality control and assurance procedures including inspection methods, testing protocols, internal audits, control plans, and CAPAs.
Conduct root-cause analyses and drive corrective/preventive action initiatives.
Maintain quality documentation and traceability in accordance with QMS standards.
Lead external and internal audits, customer reviews, and regulatory inspections.
Partner with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to improve manufacturing processes and reduce defects.
Coach, mentor, and develop inspection and quality staff.
Make timely, sound decisions that reinforce product integrity, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
Required Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field Extensive experience in aerospace manufacturing quality management, preferably with transparencies, composites, sheet-metal assemblies, or similar products.
Strong working knowledge of AS9100/ISO 9001 quality systems.
Deep understanding of DCMA/DoD requirements, source inspection processes, and first-article inspection (FAI) protocols.
Proven leadership experience overseeing inspectors, quality engineers, and support staff.
Hands-on management style with strong decision-making capability.
Excellent technical writing and documentation skills.
Thorough understanding of composites, sheet-metal fabrication, and related inspection methods.
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across engineering, manufacturing, and customer teams.
Preferred Qualifications AS9100 internal auditor training or certification.
Experience interacting with source inspectors and government contract quality representatives.
