A client of ours is a Private Equity Firm seeking a Tax M&A/Transaction professional as a newly created role. Their team has about 3 professionals in NYC area. This is a Head of Tax Successor.
Reporting to Head of M&A/Transaction Tax - this role is an Senior Tax Counsel providing domestic and international Tax Structuring, Strategy, and Risk handling their Private Equity Funds including Infrastructure and Renewable Investments.

What You'll Do:
- Set the Foundation: Partner with our in-house designer to build out our component library and design systems from scratch.
- Ship Constantly: Go from PRD to production every week. You will design the API, build reusable components, write tests, and monitor user interactions.
- Drive the Roadmap: Near-term projects include a customer analytics dashboard, a chatbot interface, and an overhauled user management experience.
- Own the UI Quality: Establish cross-browser testing frameworks and optimize performance relentlessly. The frontend is where customers feel our quality the most.
Who You Are (The Ideal Profile):
- Experience: 5+ years building customer-facing frontends, with at least 3+ years specifically in high-growth, VC-backed startups/scale-ups (Series B+).
- Tech Stack: You are fluent in TypeScript, React, and GraphQL. You are also highly familiar with Tailwind CSS, Figma, and Storybook.
- Zero-to-One Builder: You have clear signals of outsized ownership (e.g., building a design system from scratch, leading a team, or maintaining an open-source library).
- Design Thinking: You know how to take designer-produced Figma mockups and turn them into pixel-perfect, user-facing features.
- Commitment: You are willing to work hard in person (4 days a week in NYC) and are okay with occasional weekend work (~20% of the time) for on-call duties.

Position Description
Job Summary:
The Yard Person/Plant Operator is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the quarry and HMA plants and assisting in the efficient operation of the plant. This position plays a vital role in ensuring a safe and productive working environment while adhering to company policies and industry standards.
Essential Functions:
1. Results matter. Safely load, unload, stockpile, and organize materials using loaders, forklifts, and other heavy equipment to support efficient plant operations.
2. Dedication. Operate and monitor quarry processing equipment, including crushers, conveyors, and screens, ensuring compliance with company standards and optimal production.

Job Summary:
The Ground Person is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA) plant. This role performs general labor duties, assists with plant maintenance, and ensures a safe, clean, and efficient work environment.
Essential Functions:
- Protect Family and Friends by following all Peckham’s safety policies and procedures, performing daily workplace exams, working safely at all times (including at elevations), and arriving prepared with required PPE.
- Safety always wins. Support safe and efficient plant operations by performing hands-on work, including material handling, shoveling, raking, operating equipment, and assisting with site activities
- Results matter. Maintain continuous material flow and production by monitoring plant systems (belts, conveyors, aggregate flow) and communicating or addressing issues that could impact operations
- Dedication. Prevent downtime and maintain a safe work environment by performing housekeeping and removing debris or material buildup from equipment and plant areas
- Determined. Maximize plant uptime by supporting maintenance activities, including staging materials and tools, cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs
- Communicate. Support team coordination and equipment reliability by following direction, communicating effectively (radios, hand signals), and ensuring proper use and care of tools and equipment
